  1. I should think so too….. and it’s still gorgeous 😍😍😍. Have a great gig 👍
  2. No way 😧. The something else you’ve got your eye on must be pretty special. As you know I have this exact same model and colour and I think they’ll have to prise it from my dead hands. Whoever snaps your hand off for this won’t be disappointed 😍.
  3. Can’t seem to find a feedback thread for @roblpm so I’m happy to start one. Just received a mint green Fender P plate from Rob, an original Fender part in quite literally mint condition. All for the very generous cost of paying £10 to the Turkey earthquake disaster fund. Great communication, lightening quick delivery, and an all round top fella. Many thanks again.
  4. Just bought a rather lovely Precision from @Eldon Tyrell. A very speedy transaction, we messaged, I jumped in the car, I played, I liked, I bought. Bass was exactly as described and Thorsten was a perfect gentleman with great communication throughout (I even received a goody bag) 😜. Many thanks again.
  5. It was @Horizontalste who had the neck done on this one Mart, he then kindly furnished me with the details and I had the same done to the black 3-EQ I had at the time. But I agree, a serious upgrade at significant cost.
  6. I can imagine. Well I’ll be keeping an eye on it as I just might want to buy it back 🤔😂
  7. Oh my goodness, I didn’t think I’d see the day @Horizontalste. My very first Stingray!!! This bass has a lot to answer for 😂😂😂 …… and it’s the one in my arty avatar 😍
  8. Blimey! I don’t think I’ll be frequenting any auctions any time soon 🤑🤑🤑
  9. Ok, ok, I’ll give you that. A mirror plate could do it too.
  10. I must point out that I believe sticking a black plate on improves the look of most basses, although when black’s too much, a minty green one could be the answer. This was mine 😍
  11. A black plate and pickup cover would make it all better 😉.
  12. Oh yes I’ll definitely be extremely cautious and thorough if/when something comes up 🤞.
  13. Apologies for the mistaken identity, but yes I was certainly as guilty up to a couple of years ago 😂.
  14. Thanks for the info. I’m a little green when it comes to what was available/standard and when, so I’ll be swatting up and leaning heavily on you guys and others in the know. 😉
  15. Could be tempted, but the dream vintage p I’d like would be natural with a rosewood board and black plate (I think someone was selling a ‘72 the exact same a couple of years ago @Clarky possibly)?
  16. I share your fears. I’m celebrating (?) my 50th and I would love a P bass from ‘73 but am scared to death of purchasing one from anyone other than someone such as Andy Baxter or a well known member on here, where the authenticity and provenance is known. 😬😬😬
  17. Oooh a year out from my YOB otherwise I think I’d be very tempted for a road trip. GLWTS
  18. Be still my beating heart. She’s a beauty!! 😍😍😍
  19. Oooh I do keep coming back to this. There’s absolutely no reason for me to buy another bass, but this one has me under its spell😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫. Beautiful.
  20. Great amp and I agree with @Bassman68 , a MkIV produced from ‘84 to ‘86.
