Hi all I’m on a mission to clear out lots of old gear, including this Trace stuff. Roqsolid slip cover - Felt lined in good condition to suit the old, larger 3U heads with the UV light. I’ve used this with MkIV, MkV and SM/SMX heads. The handle slot is central whereas on some heads it offset, so at worst the handle may be slightly off but still perfectly useable. Graphic/PreShape Foot-switch - in working order although for some reason the graphic side alters the preshape and vice versa 🤷🏼♂️. 2no 3-pin to Speakon speaker cables - To connect your big old Trace head to some more modern cabs. One is approximately 780mm between the plugs, the other is approximately 535mm. I had these made for me at Electro Music in Doncaster around 8 years ago. Almost forgot, also 2no. spare UV tubes. Selling as a job lot as it’s really not worth multiple trips to the post office.£40 for the lot posted to GB or you’re welcome to collect/meet up in South Yorkshire.

😬😬😬 Ouch. I’m feeling your pain. I hope it’s a quick and easy fix.

I do love ‘Rays but I must admit, I’d be at the front of the queue if they decided to produce a Sterling with Stingray neck dimensions.

Just sold a bass to @Paul Clifton Superb communication throughout and prompt payment. Trade with absolute confidence 👍. Many thanks again.

Sold Richard my cab, the latest in a long line of transactions we’ve enjoyed over several years. An absolute pleasure as always, lovely to have a natter. Many thanks again.

My gigging days are well and truly over so the gear sell-off continues. I ordered this new from Barefaced in 2019 (delivered to me in October 2019 to be precise). At that time there was a fair amount of noise on these pages about peeling tolex, so I decided to go for the optional painted finish (as per their 12” cabs). Since then it has sat as a rather extravagant amp stand, not leaving the house for so much as a rehearsal (I haven’t gigged since 2018). It hasn’t been above bedroom volume in all that time, so I’d doubt it’s even run in. As you would expect it’s in pristine ‘as new’ condition and comes complete with the proper Barefaced padded cover. So if someone’s in the market for a new Four10 but want to save themselves £400, this one’s for you 😉. Link to the Barefaced site: https://barefacedaudio.com/products/four_10 Looking for a sale only although at a push I may entertain a part-ex involving a Silver cloth Super Compact or Super Midget, so I still have something nice but smaller to noodle through at home. I’m not willing to ship this so collection only please or I will be willing to travel a fair distance for a meet up. Thanks

I was fortunate enough to purchase my CW from Rob and Dawn in 2019. The service was great and the bass is sublime. I also owned a model from around 1990 which was again beautiful in every way. It’s sad to see the end of this particular era, but entirely understandable. I’d like to thank Rob for his wonderful instruments and wish him a speedy and complete recovery.

This is a Squier Classic Vibe (first series) body in Sonic Blue purchased from @Jono Bolton. The neck is a Status P flavour purchased from @Cuzzie. The body had the original CV high-mass bridge removed and replaced with a bbot, with the original screw holes plugged and new holes drilled. The electrics had been replaced with CTS pots and a switchcraft Jack socket. I fitted licensed Hipshot Ultralight tuners to the neck and bolted it together but was never entirely happy the neck was solid enough, as the screw holes in the neck were a little slack. Fast forward a few months and I decided to get the job done properly, so took the bass to Jon Shuker who plugged and filled the holes in the neck and re-drilled them, refitting the neck more snuggly than a really, really snug thing. While we were at it, I also asked him to refit the original CV high-mass bridge, plugging and re drilling as required. So, it’s now a very pretty, very solid, well playing bass that I could quite easily keep (as it’s worth far more than the sum of its parts now Jon has breathed on it) but I’m on a mission to clear out most of my gear as I no longer gig (nor do I really have a desire to). There are a few marks on the body (the worst one being to the left of the bridge) that I’ve captured in the pictures. The neck is in beautiful condition save for one of those weird carbon scuff marks that is under the lacquer (so you can’t actually feel) and a pin prick sized indentation. One point of note is that now the original bridge is back on, the holes for the bridge cover would need to be altered slightly if you were wanting to refit one. EDIT - Weight on my trusty luggage scale is 4.08kg (or pretty much 9lbs in old money). Collection very much preferred although if no collection buyers are forthcoming after a couple of weeks, I may well decide to ship.
