  1. Squier Vintage Modified 2011 body and neck complete with tuners and neck plate. Arctic White Maple neck with Rosewood board In very good condition. A couple of very minor indentations on the body but nothing that has broken through the paint or that can be easily noticed. The neck is in excellent condition. A few of the fret ends could perhaps do with a filing down but other than that, plays and feels great. There’s also a rather well used but perfectly serviceable single ply scratchplate thrown in too. This body/neck is very lightweight so would suit someone looking to build their own lightweight bitsa. Collection please from South Yorkshire or a meet up may be possible. Will post at buyers expense but costs may prove to be prohibitive. Any queries, ping me a message.
  2. Just bought a beautiful Fender P from Andy. He kindly agreed to meet me for a motorway services handover and we managed to have a good old chat about all things bass. Bass exactly as described and great communication throughout. Many thanks again

  4. Just bought a rather lovely cab from Lozz. Arranged a convenient meet up and had a good old natter. Great communication throughout and cab exactly as described. Can’t wait to give it a whirl next weekend. Top Basschatter 👍 All the best and I hope the gig went well
  5. Just to confirm, I haven’t been on holiday to Spain 😟 Therefore, cab still available 😁 Now open to trade offers.

  7. Price drop 22-07-18. £400 Bergantino NV115 cab for sale. This cab is in truly immaculate, unmarked condition and comes complete with an official Bergantino cover in equally as new condition. Here’s the blurb from Bergantino: NV115 ‘New Vintage’ Series 1-15″ & 1-6″ Midrange Bass Guitar Loudspeaker Unique in the Bergantino Audio Systems line of speakers are the New Vintage NV series of bass guitar speaker cabinets. The NV series cabinets are sealed (rather than the traditional ported design) which provides the NV cabinets with a tighter and more immediate bass response. The cabinetry on the NV series employ a precision tuned cabinet architecture and the enclosures are built with the finest 100% Baltic birch plywood. The NV series are covered in traditional tolex for durability (no more carpet fuzz for your cat to claw) and they all employ a rigid black grille to protect the drivers. The internal components used are extremely high quality and they are of Bergantino design. No ‘off-the-shelf’ parts are used. Woofers have ceramic magnets with vented pole pieces and the low-end on this series of cabinets is full and round. The NV series have remained a favorite of finger style and pick players because of the tight-creamy low end found with these cabinets. The NV115 incorporates a 6” midrange mated to a custom phase-coherent crossover network that extends the range of the cabinet up to 6.5KhZ. Want a little more clarity and open sound, but don’t like tweeters? This is THE cabinet for you! Sounds great with tube amplifiers (pull out the V4B, Model T, Hiwatt, etc.) and this cab will make you smile. Vintage heaven! • Woofer: 1-15” Ceramic Magnet Woofer w/ Vented Pole Pieces • Midrange: 1-6” Intelligibility NV Series Cone Midrange Driver • Cabinet Design: Sealed • Cabinet Material: Baltic Birch Plywood • Cabinet Covering: Black Tolex • Impedance: 8-ohms • Power Handling: 400W RMS • Crossover: Custom Phase-Coherent Crossover • Frequency Response: 45hZ – 6.5KhZ • Sensitivity: 96db @ 2.83v / 1-meter • Dimensions: 24”H x 18-1/2”W x 15”D • Weight: 53 Lbs. Ideally looking for collection or meet up (I’m in South Yorkshire). Will ship at buyers expense to UK buyers only - I now have a box!! Possible Trades - Open to anything other than cabs. Particularly: EB Musicman Stingray 4HH Small Class D head with case

  10. It’s a bit of a weighty beast Rich. Not Ibanez Musician heavy, but I’d liken it to one of the heavier Ernie Ball Stingrays (if that’s any help whatsoever) 😂 I’ve no means of weighing it but I’d say it’s certainly more between 9-10lbs than between 8-9lbs
  11. It is a great bass. I shall be completely honest. The only reason (and it really is the only reason) that I’ve not completely gelled with this bass is the fact that when I play a P bass, I more often than not ‘lock’ my thumb behind the pickup. With this pickup being reversed, the position doesn’t feel entirely comfortable to me. Being reversed it also (obviously) reduces the space between the pickups. This is all purely down to my odd hand positioning but there you go 🙄. It’s built fantastically well, it sounds amazing but for me it doesn’t quite fit.
  12. Cheers Karl, it really has been too long 😂 Always a risk but I think not at the moment. Bit of a cleansing process I think 😇 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  13. Again, due to my recent road to Damascus moment I’ve decided that I have far too much gear and I need to thin down the collection. Here is my Limelight ’63 P bass recently purchased from these very pages as a bit of an impulse buy as it was such a bargain. Here’s the spec lifted from the original Limelight ad: Limelight Custom Guitars – 00165 P Bass Gotoh Vintage Reverse tuners Aged Nitro-cellulose finished neck with Tusq nut, clay dots and hand rolled fingerboard edges Nitro-cellulose finish on body Quality vintage bridge CTS pots and Sprague cap Vintage wired Vintage type Pick ups Switchcraft jack And here’s a link to the original Limelight advert: https://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/portfolio/limelight-custom-guitars-00165-63-p-bass/ On the original Limelight pics the scratch plate looks almost two-tone with a white stripe down the centre, but as you can see on my pics it is now just a lovely aged minty-green colour. As you can see in the photographs, I’ve fitted some basic key adjustable bridge saddles for now, but the original Vintage flat-head screw saddles are obviously also included in the sale. The original strap buttons will also be fitted back on the bass instead of the strap lock buttons. As usual collection or meet up preferred (I’m in South Yorkshire). I will post at buyers expense to UK buyers only. No trades thank you
  14. Due to a recent road to Damascus moment, I’ve decided that I have far too much gear and I need to reduce my collection. Here is my gorgeous 2006 Sandberg California PM4 in Surf Green complete with Sandberg gig bag. This bass is in superb condition, plays wonderfully well and sounds great. A great utility bass, you really can get a huge range of tones out of it. • Alder body with Maple neck and Rosewood board (no dot markers) • Off-white plate • Delano pickups • Active or passive (pull-up volume for passive) • Original Sandberg Gigbag The paint on these is pretty thin so you can actually see where it has sunken into the grain of the wood. Weight wise, if you like heavier basses – step this way. It’s not ridiculously heavy but if lightweight is top of your criteria, it’s not going to be for you. As usual collection or meet up preferred (I’m in South Yorkshire). I will post at buyers expense to UK buyers only.
  15. Still available. May be interested in a trade involving a silver cloth Bf Big Baby II or Four 10.
