  1. So is this a Euro LX? (forgive my ignorance)
  2. Now sale only thanks. Further pics added below. Just to reiterate, this bass is in pretty much mint condition, plays beautifully and comes complete with original MM hard case, a spare tort scratch plate and a spare set of cobalt flatwounds. What's not to love
  3. Can highly recommend Surreal Panther too (Steel Panther tribute). Fantastic players and a really fun night 😂
  4. Many thanks guys, much appreciated.
  5. Hi all I’m sure this has been asked many times before, but could someone enlighten me as to which of the SB models has the wider string spacing? Due in no small part to Top of the Pops 2, I find myself lusting after one of these beauties. The R80 currently for sale on the forum is lovely but alas it’s a long way away from me and I’d like to try one a little nearer to home to ensure that the rose tinted spectacles aren’t up to their old tricks 😁 So if anyone has one in the South Yorkshire/Nottingham area that I could have a quick tinkle on, I’d be most grateful.
  6. Beautiful bass. If you were nearer I’d be coming to have a try. GLWTS
  7. I have one of these and they’re great basses. Lovely necks, great build quality and play beautifully. GLWTS
  8. Played my first gig with the Puma last night. First impressions? Wow ? Decided to take just one cab (the S115) and was playing my 70’s reissue P with ‘62 Custom Shop pickup fitted. It wasn’t a huge room but for balance had a small amount of bass going through the PA. The sound was full, rich with oodles of power on tap. A few of my muso mates were there and they all commented on how great bass sounded (and were also all shocked when they saw the size of the box the bass sound was emanating from). What I also found amazing was that Puma was almost stone cold at the end of the night after being on for 4 hours! All in all, I’m over the moon with it and it’s exceeded my expectations by a long way. Second gig tonight and very much looking forward to it. Thanks again for all the info along the way guys.
  9. Great amps, tiny but with great tone. For quieter gigs they’re ideal, but they can just about hold up against two guitarists and a heavy handed drummer if you’ve got an efficient cab/s. The DI is there for FOH anyway so you’re sorted.
  10. Just enjoyed a rather seamless trade with Steve involving a Puma and an Elf A deal was done, postal arrangements made and the head arrived promptly, very well packaged and exactly as described. Great communication throughout. Trade with confidence, a top BassChatter. Enjoy the head Steve
  11. Happy days ?. Many thanks for the info
  12. I’ll be using Tecamp blackface cabs - XS115 (300 watt) and a S115 (400 watt)
  13. Haha, I didn’t want mention the ‘H’ word but yes that’s what I was after (and coming from a fellow Trace lover, even better) ? Thanks
  14. The temptation to scratch the Puma itch may be rising again! What are users thoughts on the power difference between the 500 and 900? Is the 500 ample for most situations or is it worth holding out for its big brother?
  15. Hi all Selling a pretty much unused Zoom G3 multi effects unit. Complete with power supply and in its original packaging. One of these: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/zoom-g3-guitar-multi-effects-pedal-and-looper Bought for my daughter a couple of Christmas’s back, it was taken out to try and has been under the bed ever since. Will post at buyers expense photos to follow
