1. Will definately have to try one out. I am not sure when I will next be over at Brighton way. Is it possible to collect during working hours as I am sure I could find something I need to do over that way as I work for WSCC ;-) Thanks Mike
2. If I hadn't just bought a broken one and also the encoders from Behringer spares I would snap this up at asking price. This is definately a bargain at £40. Not even sure what the postage cost is?
3. Your a hard man to bargain with. Will you include postage at £40? Ta Mike
4. Noooooooooooo. I have just bought a duff one of these that needs repairing for this price. If you get desperate, I 'll give you £30 to save me the effort of replacing two of the encoders ;-) Thanks Mike
5. Thanks for replying. I am in Chichester on the south coast and regularly gig in Bognor, Portsmouth and Southampton. Is the compact big enough to take the MB on top or would it be the other way round? Thanks Mike
6. Hi Alex I have a Jeff Berlin Combo and need an extension cab as it is not quite loud enough for gigs. Do you have anything in your armoury that would sit nicely with this? Just out of interest can you get your cones in MB yellow? Many thanks Mike
7. Well, it would appear I was trying the right thing, but toching the lead to the pot was not a good enough connection. One blob of solder solved the problem. Woo hoo. I shal be using the bass at our gig tonight at the Admiral Drake in Portsmouth. Many thanks to those who responded. Mike
8. Thanks for responding. It is a black wire that I presumed was an earth. There are about a million wires hidden in this thing!!!! Not sure what to try next???? Thanks Mike
9. Hi Gang Does anyone know anyone or have reasonable knowledge of how active pick ups work. My bass failed at soundcheck at the last gig. Luckily I took a spare along with me. Upon inspection I have found a black wire that has come disconnected. I have touched it onto where I think it has come off (on the volume casing), but this does not solved the problem. I am in the Chichester area of West Sussex (South Coast) and there is a beer in it for whoever can help ;-) I do have a photo I can email, but can't work out how to place it onto here? Many thanks in advnace. Mike
10. I have the fieldy K5, with 5 different knobs on it. All seem to do the same thing differently. The band hate it when I take the mid out, but it is an awesome instrument. We play Freak on a leash in B flat and I think it is the same as the original. Cheers Mike
11. I used to play mainly guitar and have not got over using picks. I have tried but it is just built in. I use Dunlops Green 0.83, same as Lacuna Coils bassist. Thanks for the heads up guys. Mike
12. Hi Gang It is time for me to get pretentious and get some personalised pics. Does anyone have any experiance or recommendations for anyone who does bass pics? Cheers Mike
13. The other option could be to learn the song and then retune your bass to what ever key they are playing in. Make sure you have a chat with the band before hand and see what key they are in. We play everything generally a semi tone down, aprt from a couple of slipknot numbers / stone sour that are in the same key as going lower would be crazy/ Cheers Mike

17. I bought the berlin from Monz. Love the sound (and weight) But would like the highs to travel a bit better so really want some 10s. Anyone any suggestions that will look good?
18. Hi Guys Can anyone tell me if a Mark Bass 2 x 10 traveller will stack nicely with a Jeff Berlin combo. I assume the combo would have to go on its side? Also should I go for a 4 ohm or 8 ohm? Thanks in advance Mike
19. Excellent communication and item at least as good if not better than described. Many thanks and I would more than happily purchase from Glyn again. Cheers Mike
20.
I had to carry my rack up 3 flights of stairs the other day in Bolton took 4 people
Many thanks for the sale. Have been on holiday since purchase and fighting fires of one sort or another. Combo is as good as new and I will be testing it at a gig on Frdiay and can't wait. Excellent communication from Monz and a pleasure to do business with Many thanks Mike
21. I have maxed out my budget at £550, however, if you can motivate the seller to drop the price for both items I am more than happy for you to keep any savings. Cheers Mike
22. tremblap, I will go 50/50 with you. I get the combo you get the cab. Let me know if your interested ;-) Cash waiting.
23.
cancelled on the 24th! rumour has it the place may be going. although we have been double booked there before. not too sure what the real story is, and are waiting to find out. we're at the Marina fountain in St leonards ( just along the coast) on Saturday, if you fancy popping along?
We had a bit of a falling out with the Landlady at the Marina Fountain. Nothing major, just our band was not compatible with her. We were a bit too nu metal for her classic rock tastes ;-) I hope it goes well for you. If you can get down on the 4th Mayday say hi and we can chat all things bass ;-) Cheers Mike
24.
Shameful behaviour dude
How did your gig go on the 25th?
