1.
Mark King, or doesn't the I.O.W. count as Britain. Or perhaps he's on the list and I failed to spot him........
I thought that. is it not cool to cite him as an influential player anymore?!!? are you all trying to say " I would have done that stuff anyway" Ballorks, Mark King is the Guvnor and launched a million bass players god bless him. never gone for the popular vote myself ( but Pino is deservedly up at first position)

 3. call yourself a "Bass Player" rather than a "Bassist" will make a good start (sounds less Geeky) when advertising, oh and keep a Diary so you don't let anyone down when the gigs arrive (because they will if you're good) I could do with a dep every Blue moon !! PM?

 6.
You may not like the look of it, but it's a bass that has been designed very specifically to fit a particular player's needs and from what I remember of the build thread, it has a lot more R&D for a one-off instrument then many mass-produced basses appear to have!
R&D ? Retina and Damage, in one sentence/Photo? ( its just a laugh Red) no, I don't like it but that means one More bass we wont be fighting over if it goes to sale eh?
 7.
How about this one? Making good use of it with my little beat combo, Prescott....
has any one seem the episode of the Simpsons where Homer designs a car that bankrupts his brothers business? some thing just reminded me of it.

Mick Hucknell Phil Collins Man flippy mouth like purses...the sort with the zip and flap for change
I've met Hucknall (to quote Mog of simply red Mk1) "the singing Pig" and trust me that's not irrational. a bit self important. just like Aziz Ibrahim (another one) didn't like him either. ( yes I know, but I do mean it)
 12. larry graham looks out of his depth to me

 15.
tbh, i thought everyone gave him credit !
and I thought it was all a bit "sniffy" just goes to show Phil, you can never tell with the tinternet! ;D
 16. and they call you "Happy" Jack ? is it all about kak handed "clash bass" stylee in your world then? naa that sounds rude of me,and not what I mean, but celebrate a great player. even if you don't like Jaco. you'll be in a room of nine (yes I know,.... and counting.....) please don't think I'm being a git even if I am.
 17. bloody hell, you can be a miserable lot at times!
 18. This video starts out as one of those "oh here we go again!" jobs about a kid playing bass, but really, stick with it. Dahm!
 19. if you want prompt, efficient and personal customer service Rob and Dawn at Status Graphite are the ones to call (What?? just saying!)
 20. Multi FX/wahwah/volume pedal oh, and little drum box/metronome for practicing! I got this on a whim and don't practice nearly enough so thought someone here may have use for it. nowt wrong, still in its box and has PSU and the lot, its just surplus to Requirements. I would really like a reverb/delay stomp box as swap but let me know what you have for a trade. its all gone a bit 1978 and Noel Edmonds on a Saturday morning ( sorry, ask your Dad!) 23.
Here we go two...three....four They don't make em like that any more. And, what was the bass that his bassist was using? This could on and on and on...

Dunno, but I'm glad you said using. He sure wasnt playing it. Whatever, at least it was done in fun. Not the impression you got from the previous lot
now here I can name drop! because I used to play in a band with "jilted john bass player" he's called John Scott and is actually a very fine guitar player first and foremost and played guitar/bass on the record all on his lonesome. I asked him about the bass once and he said he "didn't know, some one used to turn up with one for me to mime with, probably a honer or a hofner I haven't a clue to be honest!" ahh the heady days of 1978 (even I was only13 ) love renaissance and I too would pay some dollar for a dvd of that concert, any chance Cosmo?
