  1. Definitely the Maruszczyks. The Haussels were noticeably mellower.
  2. When I ordered both of my Jakes back in the day, I specified Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Hipshot bridge, both of which are very nice, but obviously bumped the price up a bit. Having played a few 'stock' Jakes since, I think I could probably live with the standard BBoT bridge, but not so much the tuners. They just don't look substantial enough to me, but I accept it's more than likely psychological. As for the pickups, my original had Haussels which were great - quite warm. My LPB has stock Maruszczyk's, which are just the bee's knees. Love them.
  3. Ohhh... Kay. Thanks for your advice. Signed, Someone who has worked in the web design industry for more than 20 years, and still does. 😄
  4. I knew that - I was being somewhat mischievous :-) (Edit: it looks like my chin-rubbing smiley isn't showing correctly)
  5. I'm custodian of that at the moment., but obviously it's not cheap to ship about. Drop Leszek an email and see if he wants me to move it on - there's no harm in asking.
  6. Doesn’t this have a digital power stage..?
  7. I could say the same about YouTube clips of quirky covers that seem to be in vogue at the moment. ‘Clever but why??’ As for the chap in the OP video, I reckon he’s doing alright out of it.
  8. I note Sam Fender is near the bottom for probably the last time* *Even though he's had to pull out 'cos he hasn't been well.
  9. Go for it* *He said, with no authority whatsoever
  10. Set it to me if you like. I’ll host it.
  11. Clue time... It's the opening track on an album released in 1979, co-produced by Jerry Wexler.
  12. Handbox R400, as mentioned. A beautiful thing.
  13. Oliver's Army, innit. You nailed the tone!
  14. That was the Elite II, produced in 1983. There was a single-pup version called the Elite I (but you could probably have worked that out!)
  15. Oh, aye - this one was mine. Beautiful fit & finish, but weighed twice as much as Birmingham.
  16. Yeah, I think that must have been a dare.
