  1. Was the festival you played at a British Armed Forces' flagship event, sponsored by Arnold Clark, Sheraton Grand and Interserve amongst others? With guaranteed full houses every night with tickets costing £££? If so, then no - it's not much different.
  2. The MU are on to it, so I assume(!) they're aware of the detail.
  3. Nah, they should just pay people for their labour, out of the big pile of cash they’re sitting on.
  4. Aww... don't you want me? 😞
  5. Right. I think I need this.
  6. Have we seen a Charcoal Frost Limelight yet?
  7. You got it! That initial A surprised me. It feels like it should be a D, but... it ain't.
  8. You're right. Have a little lie down and it might come to you.
  9. OK... it's from a double album, which should give you some clue as to the genre...
  10. Not a criticism of the cabs themselves. I just don’t know why they’ve persevered with that logo for so long (IMO etc.)
  11. OK.. before I head out of the door - something quick'n'simple...
  12. Here's your answer! Well played, Mr. Clarky.. I'll do something ASAP.
  13. As opposed to what they have now...?
  14. Gah! Missed this... it won’t play on my phone - I’ll listen when I get home...
  15. Ah, fairy nuff. In that case, theatres will be well prepped to deal with IEMs, and they have high attenuation so you don't need to worry about having to keep up with the drummer 🙂
  16. John - if the stage balance is good, but you just want to lower the level and tighten the overall sound, I can’t recommend those custom-moulded ACS plugs enough. For 40 quid, you can’t go wrong. (obviously this doesn’t apply if you want to hear a balance which isn’t on-stage already)
  17. I agree. It was probably supposed to sound more like this (4m in):
  18. Definitely the Maruszczyks. The Haussels were noticeably mellower.
  19. When I ordered both of my Jakes back in the day, I specified Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Hipshot bridge, both of which are very nice, but obviously bumped the price up a bit. Having played a few 'stock' Jakes since, I think I could probably live with the standard BBoT bridge, but not so much the tuners. They just don't look substantial enough to me, but I accept it's more than likely psychological. As for the pickups, my original had Haussels which were great - quite warm. My LPB has stock Maruszczyk's, which are just the bee's knees. Love them.
  20. Ohhh... Kay. Thanks for your advice. Signed, Someone who has worked in the web design industry for more than 20 years, and still does. 😄
  21. I knew that - I was being somewhat mischievous :-) (Edit: it looks like my chin-rubbing smiley isn't showing correctly)
  22. I'm custodian of that at the moment., but obviously it's not cheap to ship about. Drop Leszek an email and see if he wants me to move it on - there's no harm in asking.
