    Leszek's just sent me some pics of the slightly facelifted WB-100. As well as the original case format, it looks like you can now get it rackmountable and also 'naked'.

    DG is just completely awesome. It's great that both him & Roger are getting knee-deep in trying to make a difference (whether you agree with some of the causes or not).

    Yup - Queen's stock is higher than it's been in a couple of decades, and a significant amount of credit for that has to go to Taylor and May for keeping the flame burning.

    Quick update - the bass' previous owner has been in touch. He'd owned it since 1982 - he was glad to see that I'm gigging it, and it's not just hanging it on a wall. It was nice to find out a bit more about its history.

    No, no. Don't be grouchy. I think there's a fine line here, between lines which are played badly (see my 'Call Me the Breeze' post) and lines which are perceived to be boring. I'm just curious as to whether your take on it would improve the song, or have no effect. That's all.

    It's a REAL valve. It's probably got a light behind it that glows and everything. It complements the 'Luxury chocolate' 'Gold Line' font perfectly. It screams class, man.
