    Yep, there's the investment angle as well. I bought a pair of Maruzczyks over the last couple of years - great basses both, but I have to accept that I'm going to lose money if/when I come to sell them (as I've already done with one). Because I've only really had vintage stuff in recent years, it's a new experience, and it hurts a bit.

    Limelight 62-ish Jazz. Bought from someone who knew it wasn't a real Fender, sold to me who knew it wasn't a real Fender, then sold it on to someone who kew it wasn't a real Fender. Such a trail of destruction.. so many suffering kittens and puppies. I'm going to hell.

    I'm still not seeing any concrete examples of someone being deliberately deceived. Can you provide? As for reporting future attempts... absolutely do that - that's what the report button and the mods are here for. If we crack on like this, everyone will be happy, and no kittens or puppies will die.

    It's also your pitch to the powers that be (of which I am not one) that they make a significant change to their policy. You're going to need a stronger case than 'I think something happened somewhere but I'm not sure'.
