1. For heaven's sake... I've waited years for a video of this tune, and... it sounds great, but the lighting is cack. What a missed opportunity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzcA8_EkYQ0
 2.
no extra charge for each of those spec changes
Indeed, and once again I find myself wondering... How on earth do they do it? Does everyone work there for nowt? Amazing.
 3. Don't the later ones have a switch to boost the output?
 4.
That is such a nice bass! Maruszczyk are doing something right! Just a quick one because I can't seem to find the answer anywhere; are the dimensions of the Maruszczyk jake the same dimensions as a standard p bass? I am hoping to get one but a standard precision is slightly big for my size and I have a condition that limits movement in my left hand. My other bass is Fender jazz American special. The body is fine and the neck is superb on that for example.
You can pretty much spec what you like - I did.
 5. But seriously, this one's pretty good:
 6.
Abacab, surely.
You want it? You got it - well now you know.
 7.
The one played by the best bass player in the world, of course. Wish I could remember her name...
Ah, Gladys Butterworth. Awesome. She plays a P through a stock 1985 Guinness Book of Records. It sounds tremendous.
 8.
So.Much.Want.
Yeah - it's a cracker. To be honest, it's overkill for most stuff, but it's nice to have it.
 9. This one:
 10. Put it between two heavy sheets of glass in the sunlight. Leave it a while. Sorted.
 11. You might want to edit the topic title and put a bit more info in it...

 13. ^^^ that's all good to hear. One of the main issues I had with my cabs was the use of MDF, meaning some of the joints weren't great. Bear in mind this is a number of years ago now, so hopefully that's a thing of the past!
 14. It's dreadful. But so is everything before and after it...
 15.
Yes it's not exactly a shining accolade is it....
Why not? I know many part-time bands who are pretty formidable...
 16. Of course - the main point of interest for me was how a chambered featherweight PJ can compare to a stock P. The age gap was immaterial, really.. it was just a bit'o'fun.
 17.
Thank you. I fancy trying some.
You're weclome. I ordered some direct from Lakland last Tuesday. They arrived yesterday. £22 all-in
 18.
Sorry WOT bad day. Apologies
No problem! I hope today's been better :-)
 19.
Obviously a P-Bass has certain sound characteristics but it is not as tho all of them by the same maker sound the sound.. so the difference between the 2 examples are just that..THE two examples recorded. Put another two up from the same makers and I'd be pretty sure they'd have sound differences.
Oi fink we noe dat :-)
 20. Cheers for playing along, (almost) everyone. And the answer is: Precision, then Jake.
 21.
Your welcome.
What you up to today, then? Owt exciting?
 22.
Who cares!
Thanks for taking the time to contribute. It means a lot.
