1. Why did she do that when she's got backing vocalists there who would have sounded far better singing the harmony?
 2.
Passenger (whingey solo artist, we play with loads of people like this unfortunately)
Fingernails down a blackboard time. Hideous. Andy you're right - there's a load of people around peddling this nonsense. Sing in your own voice, fer cryin' out loud. It's like listening to an impressionist.
 3. I imagine this one would have been a bit of a challenge... No problem for the Doc, though! Beautiful.
 4. That's more like it! Cheers, Clarky. Love the ATQR clip :-)
 5. These are new to me - never come across 'em before. I've just had a listen to the videos on the site, but they sound a bit anaemic - does anyone have some better examples I can listen to?
 6. Here's The Garden from the DVD: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/rush-debut-dvd-from-string-heavy-clockwork-angels-tour-premiere-20131017 I wish Alex would stop pretending to sing....
 7. Challenge accepted It's out on loan at the mo - when I get it back I'll have a shot and report back.
 8.
Just listened to your demo a few pages back there again, and the Jazz Bass tone you have is wonderful, just enough grit and high end to bring out aggression without being harsh. I actually think I could live without a tweeter these days. You may have already been asked this, but can you notice much difference between the Ceramic and Neo versions if you've managed to AB them? Eude
That's one of the great things about them - clear in an upper-mid kind-of way. Ceramic vs. neo - difficult to tell. I've used the single neo 12 quite a few times, but it's always been with PA support. I'd need to use them at a backline-only gig to tell, really...
 9.
ok, I have to ask this: anyone has an idea how would two 112's compare to, say, two Aguilar SL112's in everyday life? Like, small rock/jazz/funk gigs?
FWIW, my 112's would absolutely own a small rock/jazz/funk gig with regards to volume and headroom. To be honest, a single cab would probably suffice. I have absolutely no experience with the Aggie SL's, so I can't comment on them.
 10. The 1126 has port at the front. The new 112 is rear-ported - is that what you're thinking of?
 11. Just nicked this from the TKS Facebook page - the new 1126's will have a top bar handle instead of a strap handle... nom nom nom!
 12.
Does this help? BB
I'm fairly sure these weren't used during the TV years. Could be wrong, mind...
 13.
Jools had Seasick Steve on the show Never heard anything quite like it before!
There's a certain irony in that comment...
 14.
I'm begining to think that the Precision only had the Fender logo, where has the Jazz had both Fender and Jazz Bass on it.
I'm pretty sure this is the case...
 15.
This is the version of the track which was released in America back in the day. It's a lot faster and not as good as the "proper" version. I've no idea why they choose to play it live.
I did not know that - I'll have to have listen. Ta for the info.
 16.
Just played back the original after watching some of the YouTube clips... It sounds soooo slow. Although most of the live stuff does seem so fast that they are having problems playing it a lot of the time.
Yeah. It has a groove which was totally absent from the live version...
 17.
Hats off to any band that can effectively incorporate yodelling into a track.
Ah, they've got nowt on Frank Ifield... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKB_UnEwAJM
 18. I watched them on telly a few months ago - it was a recording from a festival down south somewhere (High Voltage?). I couldn't believe the performance of Hocus Pocus. It sounded like the whole band just wanted to be somewhere else, as soon as possible. It was about 3000000mph.
 19.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMxr7LvoJ7s
[Pedant mode ON] No pedals :-)
 20. Calm down, everyone. It's just young band doing young band stuff with, from what I can see, the bass player's agreement.
 21.
Over 30lbs is too heavy for bass gear ? Blimey , that cuts down your options just a bit.....
Not any more....
 22. And if you can do without the 'pedal' bit, Santo & Johnny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1st_9KudWB0
 23. Sneaky Pete Kleinow... mint. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BITiY8M_oDo
 24. This is a strange thread. Most brands have loyal customers. Why are Barefaced are being singled out?
 25.
Once or twice, now I find doing 10 minutes of yoga 4 or 5 times a week prevents it.
Hopefully you won't, but if you get it properly your opinion might well change..
