*rolls out stock answer* I'm giving it a miss too. IMO, CA was a non-event, musically speaking. The tickets are too expensive. The [i]spoiler alert - highlight to read:[/i] [color=#ffffff]addition of the string section[/color] is pure cheese. The animations are getting tedious. I find myself watching them more than the band. Alex's guitar tone is hopeless. Despite all this, I still love 'em. That's the power of Rush for ya.

Is it just me that's been getting reply notifications for a topic called '2', usually from Marcus Bell? It's been happening for a few months now, and the posts it's referring to are fairly random...

Personally, I'd leave it 'burst. It's a rare colour for the Tele. Also - make sure you're 100% sure re: removing the J pickup. I found my mudbucker Tele to be unusable. Too much mud, not enough buck :-) The J will help with that.

Mr. Nice chap from Lakland replied to say they frequently offer strings to all their UK dealers, but none take them up on it...
