I've been missing out of a few (and they're not in my junk mail), and I've just had a random one notifying me of a reply to a thread called '2'. The thread it's linking to is actually called something else, and it hasn't had any replies since August 2012...? Ta!

Anyone who pays fifteen quid for this slice of tat should be hunted down, tarred and feathered.

Just in case anyone is considering it... It's worth mentioning that as good as DR Bass cabs may be, ordering anything from them these days is the equivalent of giving your money to some random bloke on the street.

We got a couple of 'proper' gigs out of it, so it was worth doing. Just done one of them showcase gigs in a student bar in town with my fledgling originals band, to a handful of interested people, for no money. I enjoyed it.

Unfortunately bubble wrap isn't adequate, and FedEx will walk away. One for the 'down to experience' pile, I'm afraid.

My little Behringer Eurorack mixer has worked like a champ for years. I think it cost about the same as a packet of crisps and a bottle of irn Bru.

We have a full set of originals, and we do original-only gigs. But the songs are so good, we play some in the covers set too, and the punters appreciate it. This, in turn, it drums up interest in the original gigs. Like I say, simple.
