1.
Howdy I'm not sure exactly but I could find out if you want.
If you don't mind. Thank you.
2. It's not as bad as people make out, I reckon. The soundtrack is tremendous.
3. He's fairly well established. I think he's spotted that the tide is beginning to turn, and he's going into self-preservation mode.
4. Agents are the worst thing to happen to the pub scene in living memory.
5. Here's another.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd-Kll3YG24
6.
That ain't no Bob Babbitt unless he changed ethnicity!
Ha.. it's him on the track. The fella in the video is nickin' the glory.
7.
someone hit me around the head with a P bass that impresses me!! I want to be impressed but......:OL Had a decently playable Squier P/J, put some Dimarzio's on it....it was just loud and BOOMY!!! Awful. I want one ( Scott Divine does a great job of dangling the carrot) but yet to find love
A P/J ain't a P... A great P tone? Where to start... how about here, courtesy of Bob Babbitt? 8. This is all very interesting. I'm seriously considering selling my HS210s literally because I fancy a change, and the Baers were toward the top of my list along with a pair of Berg 12s or something Barefaced. it's silly really - the HS210s are probably as good as I'll get. GAS is a terrible thing.
9.
wider than the Bergs..?
Yep - the Bergs are very shallow front-to-back..
10.
How 'bout I do the bass lines and you can handle the keys and vocals WoT?
Hmm... My karaoke party piece used to be Stayin' Alive in full falsetto, so you might be on to something there. As for keys, I can hear 'Chopsticks' over the instrumental in Tom Sawyer rather than the synth line Geddy plays. That would work....
11.
I'm guessing that's if you rotate them and haven't missed the obvious?
Yiiip... it's the cupboard under the stairs (for all you lurking burglars), so it's a narrow door...
12. Gah! I've just measured the door of the cupboard I keep my gear in - literally the ONLY place in the house safe from rampaging children - and the ML112s are 1/2" too wide to fit through. That's me out of the running
13. There's nowt worse than not passing an audition. The ones I've failed still hurt - one in particular and it was probably 20 years ago. Ha ha. Onwards and upwards, me dear!
14. I've just worked out who the OP is. I know her well - she's a fab player.
15. I am. Love 'em. These days, the lines are a bit beyond me though. Ha ha. Is that you, Ms. A? Didn't know you were on here...
16. ....anyway - how do these cabs sound in real life? Anyone?
17.
Shouldn't it have a signature on the headstock? Plus the string tree looks different to mine.
Nah - not on the IV. The headstock, bridge and string tree are different to the IV. Here's mine:
18. The prime candidate hasn't replied to my email yet.....
19. In the last day or so, my BC notifications started to be flagged as junk, so they've been going into my spam folder. I've had to create a rule in Gmail to mark them as 'not junk' to force them into my inbox instead. If you use Gmail, or your email provider uses the same rules, that'll be why.
20. One of these two is an impostor! WE MUST KNOW!
