IME, the useful stuff got left behind as you turned the volume up.

I hated it. It sounded like floppy cardboard. IMO. I was one of the 1% who complained about it before the rating issue. I just [i]knew[/i] there was something weird about it. It's not an issue for lots of other people, though... it's a taste thing.

I had that a couple of weeks ago. it was a cached page from when there were problems a little while before that. Our proxy server at work pulled it out of the cache for some reason.

It's really odd that the new BC software works like this. I can't think why they would remove the functionality,..?

Best micro amp I've used. IMO / IME, in common with the other micros I've tried, it lacks a bit of punch / presence / something in the mix. I'm in a minority, mind.

Interesting weekend... On Saturday night, one of my bands played on a ferry that went along the Tyne from Tynemouth to Newcastle. It was one of the small passenger ferries so it was a bit of a squish, but it was fun. Today was The Mouth Of the Tyne festival, supporting The (formerly Beautiful) South, and Heaven 17. Anyone 'round Newcastle got a Compact or a Midget I could have a quick go of?

I'll find out what key we're doing it in - it's probably not the recorded key - then listen to it a few times until I know the song and the line. I'll then sit down with my bass, and hopefully be able to play most of it off the bat. I'll spend a bit of time working the tricky bits out. It works for me, but then it's the only way I know.
