Apparently the mod I refer to in my earlier post buffers the pickup as it should have been. They're supposed to sound great.

I think if you buy a cover from Silverstone after reading this thread, and other reports around the web, you haven't really got grounds to grumble if it goes wrong.

The people who say the Streamliner is muddy and undefined are generally those who haven't realised the bass knob turns anticlockwise.
