1.
We need to make him stop it. I still have dreams about Wot's Streamliner sat on my cab.
Sorry. But it does sound very nice. Just sayin'.
 2. The Chain is flippin' awesome from start to finish. If you'll excuse the pun.
 3. Lovely head - I miss mine more than the M-Pulse 600 I also had at the time. My God, I was so extravagant back then. Happy days. Anyway, the closest alternative I've found to it is the Genz Streamliner. it has a similar round, punchy boot-ay.
 4. Excellent.. I really hope this is a hit for them.
 5. IMO - run away.... Use Roqsolid or someone else instead. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/120210-avoid-silverstone-amp-covers http://basschat.co.uk/topic/107446-warning-silverstone-amp-covers-uk http://basschat.co.uk/topic/115715-silverstone-amp-covers
 6. Transients add to my enjoyment and make me play better... that's part of the reason I couldn't get on with the RH450.
 7.
How so?
I'm intrigued too... the box sizes are comparable...?
 8. Johnnysonic60 is a regular on the Fender Forum... nice chap.
 9. Nice to see he hasn't deviated much from the HS210. It confirms he got it right first time.
 10.
hmmmm..not for me. Not sure about the low frequencies being a factor off axis, myself, but don't want to go off on that tangent.
Ah - I mean keep the box as-is, with the staggered drivers, but put the badge and handles in the vertical stylee - most people seem to use them that way. He did that with the last run of AEs, I think...
 11. Yeah - they look lovely. I'm surprised he didn't go vertical for the 210...
 12. Hi all Jim's put his new line of ceramic cabs on his site.
 13. If the band pays, and you need the money, don't leave unless it's going to drive you mental. Otherwise, throw the towel in, and head onwards and upwards...
 14.
Hi folks, Sorry for being quiet - been in the States! Current problems are entirely my fault, and I'll fill you in on the details. Before we launched the new version, I did some benchmarks and it ran at more or less the same speed as the last version. What I didn't foresee is how much more traffic the new site causes. *snip*
Thank you for the update, O mysterious overlord! We can all stop whingeing now....
 15.
A real brand image problem?! They're the biggest selling bass brand in the UK with a huge roster of pro players - they must be doing something right.
I have a feeling their market share is shrinking, though. People just don't talk about them like they used to. As for a huge roster of pro players... so they offer a lot of endorsements. Who doesn't want free gear?
 16.
Come on Ashdown. Up your game.
How can you improve on this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn_mNY56Hsc I know it sounds like I'm picking on Ashdown, and maybe I am - but they're bordering on comical. IMO.
 17.
There were quite a few posts on this forum when LB first came out, from people saying they just wished it had a bit more under the hood. So, a few months later here we are - exactly what some people seemed to be asking for.
I think people were hoping for a larger tube power stage. The disappointment is possibly because it's a class-D power stage, which dumps it right into the middle of a very competitive market.
 18.
then all some guys do is say 'I HATE that logo' or 'that guys jacket sleeves are too long'!
I have no opinion on jacket sleeves, but the size of a company has no bearing on putting effort into making its product look decent. Some of the best looking stuff out there is produced by small companies. And some of the worst looking stuff by the biggest. As for 'constantly trying new stuff' - they keep releasing stuff after the ship has sailed.
 19. FYI, here's a typical example of something that happens to me fairly frequently. On this occasion, I opened the 'Bass Guitar' forum. Here's the timings: ServerGotRequest: 11:38:29.451 ServerBeginResponse: 11:38:58.718 That's nearly 30 seconds waiting for a response from the server. A DB issue, perhaps? I can live with it, though.
 20.
Hi Chris probably little you can do about the work computer if it hasn't been updated. However if you have windows 7 installed at home you can download a driver update utility here: http://driver-pro.co...-7-updates/?a=7
Hi CK It's running OK for me at the moment, but whenever I've had slow spells (as in BC, not me ), it's always been the result of waiting for the server to respond - nothing local. Of course everyone should ensure they've got all the latest updates installed, and use something other than IE if possible...
 21.
I know its a bit OT but this lot make really good repro celluloid guards (I have one on my 63P) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2eb6ca0171
It's close! The one on the link is just too... 'focussed' for my taste. Thinking back this is probably part of the reason I couldn't stick with my otherwise lovely Tony Franklinses. Original tort is a beautiful (and combustible) thing... My God, I'm shallow.
 22. A lot of the CS stuff is beautiful. I just wish someone, somewhere, would start making tort like they used to way back when. The new stuff jars my anorak a little bit.
 23.
. Not being stuck in a rut, forcing the boundaries and listening to customer feedback is all a part of the development process.
So.. when are Ashdown going to become part of this 'development process'? We've waited a while now...
