  1. Christmas bash for one of my bands. Love playing with this line-up.
  2. I suspect the B&W photo on the auction answers that one.
  3. I think I was one of the early adopters, certainly from a BC perspective. I ordered my first in 2015 and it was around 7 weeks...!
  4. Have to say, I like the guy even less now... if that's at all possible. *Apparently he's not a fan of me either, so we're all-square
  5. You really think that's a possibility?
  6. Your best bet is to post pics, especially close-ups of the front and back of the headstock and, if you can, the wiring under the pickguard in the control cavity, the heel of the neck and the neck pocket.
  7. Carruthers Guitars, from California.
  8. HOLY CRAP I HAD NO IDEA
  9. I take my ACS15's out after a gig, and my hearing is like the Cadbury's Caramel bunny has been whispering sweet nothings into my ear for 90 minutes. It's still a novelty to me.
  10. I don't think he's using the custom moulds. An important distinction.
  11. Lookin’ good, Kev!
  12. Just watching it again, and realising even more how on-the-ball Lindsay-Hogg was. So much to thank him for.
  13. ACS custom moulds. Best things I ever bought.
  14. Well that's very kind, gents. My purple crushed velvet suit remains in the wardrobe for now...
  15. They’re Squires with a bit of upgraded hardware. His tech bought a couple in Newcastle for just over 100 each 😄
  16. Urgh. Bring back the black blocks and white guard, and knock 4K off the price.
  17. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, completely oblivious to the middle-aged mess of a man he was to become 🙂
  18. Wow.. your personal experiences are so similar to those of The Beatles it’s unreal.
  19. The guy on the left accidentally dropped his bass down the stairs, liked the sound of it, and the other fellas tried to copy him.
  20. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
  21. Great book. See also: Geoff Emerick's book.
  22. Cheers! It is Tynemouth station. Si was one of the contributors that didn't make the cut purely through lack of time. There were lots 😞 FWIW, my contribution to the doc was stills, drone footage, some of the interview footage and research / archives. All good fun.
  23. Not a huge amount. It's mainly the sound of the bass and the guy playing it.
