I bloody love this band, and this show is amazing, isn't it? In that Quiet Earth, man. Wonderful. I agree MR is underrated, but it serves him right for phoning in such boring parts on the last couple of Genesis LPs. Is this really the guy that recorded The Lady Lies, Behind the Lines and No Reply at All? Still love 'em to bits though.

Nipped across to not-very-sunny Zurich to play at an Americana festival. Had a great few days. I've worked with Peter for a long time, but this is his other band and I'd never met them before. Just had time to top-and-tail at the soundcheck, and off we go. They're a hugely talented bunch.

I don’t mind it as an assistant to mundane, repetitive tasks. But… as a replacement for human creativity, or emotion? F that, with bells on. I absolutely detest it. It’s an inevitable development in technology, but one which opens a miserable new chapter.
