He certainly isn’t. It’s like he’s wearing boxing gloves half the time. Part of the reason I suggested Drama to Chris is because - as well as it being a good record - it’s a little more direct than the classic stuff, with less flowers and faeries. It’s maybe an easier way in. The Fly From Here suite is lovely. For more latter-day stuff, Homeworld and Magnification are fab (IMO).

That's how I fee about a lot of neo-prog (including latter-day Rush), but with the likes of Yes, Genesis etc. it's actually songs - even if the arrangements are complicated, there's a decent tune behind it.

Big Rush and Genesis fan here, since my teens. I could never get into Yes. Anderson’s voice, the flowery lyrics, skittish tunes, and dodgy clothes put me off for decades. Then... something clicked about three years ago. No idea what, but that was it. I love ‘em now. Maybe start with Drama (controversial maybe). By the time you’re at one with Awaken, you’ll realise it was all worth the effort.

That's definitely the case with the WB-100 - flat is actually flat. Tweak gently to taste.

Quick update... as mentioned earlier, I got the Audient EVO 4. However, despite it sounding fine, I just couldn't get over the cheap build quality and odd UI. It made it feel like a toy. So, back to Focusrite, specifically a 3rd gen 2i2. It feels like a serious bit of kit, and sounds great.

Yep, same for me. Seconds Out, Eagles Live (I know...), Rock of Ages (I highly recommend Sebastian Robertson's remix if you haven't heard it already). One of my real favourites is Lindisfarne's Magic In the Air. The stereo image is great.. really immersive:

Back in the day when I owned one of these, they sent me out some bits so I could replace them myself. Great service. Just a note re: sending it back to them - if you need to be careful you don't get stung by the Inland Revenue when it comes back.
