The technology’s come on a bit since the ZX81, tho.

I don’t mind it as an assistant to mundane, repetitive tasks. But… as a replacement for human creativity, or emotion? F that, with bells on. I absolutely detest it. It’s an inevitable development in technology, but one which opens a miserable new chapter.

Thread from the dead. I installed one in my '71 P yesterday (original pickup has been rewound, and lacked... something). Installation was relatively straightforward. I had to file the pickup lugs a bit to fit them through the pickguard, but apart from that it was plain sailing. Tone-wise... night and day. Very clear, very defined. I'll know more once I've gigged it.
