  1. Unfortunately, MR phoned in his bass parts on the last couple of albums, which is part of the reason I find them so 'meh'.
  2. Unlike Squire, Rutherford isn't a natural showman. I think that shows in his style. Love 'em both.
  3. ....aaaaaand it’s just been cancelled.
  4. I've got a gig in a pub in a railway station on Sunday afternoon. It's usually rammed, so I was (am?) expecting it to be cancelled. So far, all signs are that it's going ahead. We'll see.
  5. Ah, what? You'll regret it...! Just in case any potential buyer fancies a change from orange, I've got a white frame I'd be willing to pass on. It should be a straight swap, and it'll look like the one in my video, but white. GLWTS.
  6. Yep, same for me. Calling @ped, @charic.....
  7. This thread has me more confused than I ever have been in my life.
  8. I float, and I can play very hard if I need to.
  9. They’re not Markbass or Ashdown, that’s for sure.
  10. Where’s the huge ‘rolls eyes’ emoticon when you need it?
  11. It's never been a problem with me, but as it's a pretty substantial string I always make sure the string isn't 'locked' in the bridge when I'm tuning it up to pitch, i.e. make sure it can freely rotate right up until the last minute. I've had it a couple of times before where the string has twisted, and it's basically sounded dead. FWIW, I find GHS Precision Flats to be a slightly cheaper alternative to the La Bella FL's.
  12. I think this qualifies as 'Somewhat stalkerish'.
  13. Awaiting a response from @Pseudonym1 with interest.
  14. I've rationalised this in my own mind. Genesis has given me a huge (and I mean HUGE) amount of pleasure since I was a kid. They're etched into my DNA. All that enjoyment has cost me... what? A few hundred quid over the years? That's a bargain. I don't mind paying another 80 (which I appreciate is a substantial amount of money) to say ta-raa.
  15. He’s not tickling the strings, but he’s hardly thrashing it.
  16. I went Hipshot for bridge and tuners. The stock stuff is probably fine, but I like Hipshot.
  17. Ooof.. thank you. I'm kinda torn between Charcoal and silver. Amongst other things.
  18. Apparently there's one road in Manchester where all the residents are immune to the virus. Corona-shun Street, I think it's called. (I just made that up, so you see it trending on MySpace or whatever it's called later today, you heard it here first)
