Maruszczyk, Lakland, Celinder, Lull, Sadowsky, Overwater, Vintage, Bass Collection, Sandberg etc seem to manage...?
Thanks for taking the time to reply, by the way π
There is a parallel universe where Supper's Ready jumps from the end of Lover's Leap, straight to Apocalypse in 9/8. What a wonderful universe that must be.
I dunno... there certainly isn't another Freddie anywhere, but a bloody good singer can do those songs justice. Here's something I did at the weekend with Joe McElderry, who can sing the hind legs off this one:
I never took the plunge and went full-time. I shoulda.
As this thread isnβt hidden away in OT Iβll not post how I really feel about βmusic vs. the 9-5β at the moment.
As I mentioned earlier, it's eight rusty screws.
I've been though it, and I'm happy to report there were no tears, or PTSD. I'd actually forgotten about it until this thread.
Still, I guess it could be Limelight's equivalent of the 'Barefaced handle'.
Right, back OT.
Instead of us all grumbling into the ether, I thought I'd do something useful and feed this back to Mark 'cos I know he doesn't do BC. This is what he says:
There you go π
No, it's just a fairly minor irritant that the builder needs to address on what is otherwise a wonderful sounding, looking, value-for-money instrument.
..it's worth mentioning that most of the pics are mine, but the official gig shots (obv) and a handful of the earlier rehearsal shots are by the official tog.
Thank you π
I did lodge an official protest when I saw the stage plan, but I was overruled. Drat.
Obligatory 'Sirens of Scotswood' snap, taken from my position of limited visibility:
No. The kids have been having fun triggering them on my laptop π
One thing I didn't realise about that song until I listened to it closely - the guitar riff comes after a straight four count from the start of the sample. I expected it to be more complicated than that.
Oh, and the marvellous jacket Trevor Horn wore at the gig (see above) was one he used to wear on the Yes Drama tour in 1980. He's in good shape.
