1. Bump, bump, bumpty bump
OK ... So I had a root around in my wardrobe and oddly enough I found all four of the original speakers all boxed up! So if this makes a difference to anyone, I'd be happy to include these with the sale. As far as I'm aware they are all working absolutely fine (they were when I took them out of the amp). £300 all in
2. These have now been sold ... thanks for looking!

  4. Unfortunately, that's no longer an option as I've sold it! Oh well, the search for a buyer continues I've got some pickups you can put in the body of a T-bird ... one day.
You're probably better off putting these back in the T-Bird. Many people would probably prefer the bass unmodded and you'd have more luck trying to sell a set of EMG pickups separately then these. Good luck though, I'd like a T-Bird myself one day!
5. I've got the chance to snap up a Yamaha Attitude Plus for only £110. I haven't played it yet but I just wondered whether this is a good price for one of these? I've done some searching on the web (and Basschat) but cant seem to find a massive amount of info about this bass. Other than it's a stripped-down version of the more expensive basses in the Attitude series. Anyone out there owned one? Cheers Simon
  6. One more bump ... Then back on Ebay! Cheers
  7. Thank you kind sir I'll leave it a week or so then I'll have another go on Ebay ...
If a studio project guy comes back to me, I will talk it up. These are 'must haves' for live recording and 'real' gig prep. Also good for hire. If I was near, I would not be able to resist.... ...and I would add on the 1810 with flightcase (you know the one!)
8. Bump I put this up on Ebay and didn't get any joy. Didn't even reach £150!! (So glad I put a reserve on it) I'd prefer it if went to someone here who can actually appreciate this amp
  9. Bump Anyone? It's onto Ebay if no interest. (Uh-oh!)
  10. No, I actually changed em for active EMG's (40DC) But I'm currently selling my Thunderbird too!
did you change them for Bartolinis on your bass.
11. I have for sale two passive pickups that were taken out of a Gothic Epiphone Thunderbird. Dimensions are : 9.8cm length, 3.8cm width 2.2cm in height (this does not include the foam underneath the pickup which is 3.8cm, inclusive) I still have the old pots - 3 volume/tone controls and the jack input, together with all the nuts, bolts and bits. Perfect working order. I'm looking for £60 for the lot

  17. Hi there ... I dont know if this will be of any interest to you but seeing as I'm relatively local I thought I'd ask! I'm trying to sell a Peavey Foundation bass and an Epiphone Thunderbird http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry417007 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry416977 I know these prob aren't even on the same page as a Status bass ... but they're both fretted! Cheers
  18. Early to mid-1980's Trace Elliot 1110 Combo for sale. This is a classic Trace combo, comprising the GP11 MkV preamp, and a 150w power amp (this is highly underrated by Trace and is a beast above 5!), with 4 x 10 Celestion speakers. I replaced these which is the reason for the different coloured cones. The black vinyl covering is slightly marked in places, but given its age, is in fairly good condition. All knobs are present and only one slider on the graphic EQ is missing; it is still possible to adjust this. Everything works a treat, with the exception that the Graphic and Pre-Shape switches can be a bit temperamental (common fault with the GP11) but a couple of prods sorts things just fine! These functions work perfectly with the Trace footswitch (not included but they do pop up on eBay from time to time). There's a speaker output for a second 4 Ohm cabinet if required. The combo also has a green canvas dust cover. Looking for £300 ono Cheers Simon
  19. I'm looking to sell my Peavey Foundation 5 String Bass. This has a bolt-on maple neck, two humbucker pickups with separate volume controls for each, and a tone control. The body is made of poplar and is fairly heavy, with a polyurethane solid black finish. 21 frets and a scale length "34 In very good condition except for the plastic cover forming part of the jack input. This was a bad design and the plastic cover ended up breaking. I therefore created a thin metal replacement (see pic). This could do with being upgraded, from an aesthetical point of view. The only other thing is the G-string tuning peg, which is slightly worn. I also stuck a Pearl Jam sticker between the pickup and the fret board. I haven't removed this but I'm sure it will come off! £250 ono Cheers Simon
  20. Hi everyone ... I have an Epiphone Thunderbird IV Goth bass for sale. It has a mahogany body and a bolt-on hard maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The body is satin black and has an “XII” inlay at the 12th fret. 34 inch scale length, 1.5 inch nut width I had the two “Thunderbird Plus” pickups replaced with two EMG 40DC’s. These are active pickups and GREATLY improve the overall sound of this bass. This was done by a professional guitar technician who also set up the bass within the last year. I also had a new clear scratch plate made to replace the cheap looking black plate that came with the bass. However, I still have the original plate, which can be included if required. The front strap nut has also been moved lower as the Thunderbird is notorious for neck diving, which helps compensate for this. The only other modification I have made is to the back of the neck. Due to the fact this was lacquered you could not smoothly slide your hand up and down it (especially when you get a bit hot at a gig!) I therefore used fine sand paper to remove the top layer of lacquer. I bought this bass as a project but have never liked the sound compared to my Ibanez. It has therefore been sat in my cupboard waiting for someone to appreciate the modifications I’ve made to it! For those who love Thunderbirds and are looking for something a bit unique, look no further. £300 ono Cheers Simon
