I have tried going straight into the amp, i'll try another bass and speaker cable next. Probably should have tried that before posting in all honesty!

Its used heavily and pushed hard, but its always left to warm up properly etc. When hitting the low E (especially when dropped to D or C sharp) it makes an intermittent popping noise as you strike the string? All other strings seem ok - just the low end that seems to be an issue. The sound is exactly like when a string touches a pick up magnet (but its not this). Does anyone have any idea? I am running it with two Orange Cabs - a 410 and a 115. I am going on tour in May and I really don't want it letting me down :-/ Any advice is much appreciated! [/size][/color]

2012 Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass MIM. Bought new from the Guitar Store in Southampton in November for £899 (receipt to prove). This is an excellent bass with a super slim neck, nice weight and excellent build quality. Great condition - minor playing wear as to be expected on a black guitar. 9.5 / 10 condition. I thought about selling this last year, but then decided to hang on to it. I just don't use it live and there is no point it collecting dust at home! Totally mint Orange 115 cab, in Blood Orange red tolex. Looks great - excuse the dodgy phone pictures. Fantastic 1x15 and at this price a great deal considering its in as new condition. Looking for £235 - no offers as I feel thats a great price. Collection is preferable, although I will box it up if you wanted to arrange your own courier. Cheers

I have decided to part with my Little Mark 250. Its a cracking amp and through a 4ohm or two 8ohm cabs I don't see how you could possibly want anything louder? I bought it from GAK in July and its served me well until I changed my set up. I just use it at home now and I thought I may as well shift it on. Its a real novelty to take your head to gigs in a laptop bag! £225 sound fair? Located in Southampton [attachment=125191:securedownload.jpeg]

I bought a Squier Matt Freeman last week, quick set up and a pick up change to a Basslines Quarter Pounder and its absolutely killer. Sounds and plays as well as a bass over twice its price. A lot of it probably depends on the amp as well I expect...

For the money they're great! I just have GAS for something else so i'm selling a few bits. I think its a fair price indeed!

They're not bad! Not as big as you'd imagine, just a bit more full sounding. Rolling back the volumes creates more of a usual Jazz tone. I expect there is loads on You Tube...
