Bought a Pickguardian Surround from Nick. Top chap to deal with.

Ivan sold me his Keeley Fuzz Head. So yet another pedal to please my addiction and a fantastic one at that. Cheers Ivan, buying has never been easier.

Apologies if this has already been posted, I did search and couldn't find anything. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/feb/1...g-justin-bieber

For anyone who's interested, Pete Cornish has some good information on why his pedals and boards don't use true bypass. I use a Phase 90. I'm always open to the idea of getting a different phaser, but without forking out a lot more (Mad Professor) or sacrificing space with a bigger unit (Empress, Diamond) I don't think there is much out there that can offer something significantly better.
This is my wife, standing in front of a petrified tree in Arizona, in between Flagstaff and Holbrook::
I spent 3 months in Flagstaff in 2008, beautiful part of the world. -
Stuee bought 2 packs of strings from me. No problems what-so-ever. As easy as buying and selling gets on basschat.... very easy.
Couple of shots from last night off a mates camera. Had a pro photographer down who had some AWESOME pics of the gear as well which I'll get back last week...
How many plugs do you need to power that little lot?
Here's my current board: TU-2 > Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk B > Xotic BB Bass Preamp > Wren & Cuff Tri Pie 70 > Maxon AD9-Pro really liking this, though not had a chance to try the phat phuk B into my tube amp yet so we'll have to see how that sounds. Tri Pie 70 is the best muff i've ever used - awesome fuzz! Sorry for the rubbish camera phone pic, you can't see the naughty lady drawing on the fuzz pedal that clearly
That's a really smart PT mini. I'm interested to see what you think of the Wren & Cuff pedals. I have the old dark green pickle pie B and still love it, but the new ones look very tasty on the website.

Has anyone else had this problem with Sunbeams recently? I was going to order some more this weekend but may hold fire if a few people have had the same experience.

I'm quite comfortable playing with the bass high or low. I have 3 different straps and they all get used with different basses at different heights. More complex stuff I like to play with the bass a little higher, that's the only real requirement I have.

SOLD Hi guys and girls For sale is my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe. I've had this pedal from new, bought it last spring and have been comparing it to the Boss OC-2 since November. I like them both and would keep them both but I can't justify having two octave pedals for the amount I use them so I flipped a coin and the Boss pedal won, so it stays. It's been on my pedal board so it has Velcro on the bottom of it and it's been gigged, one if the knobs is a little stiff but works just fine. It's in fantastic condition I have the box and manual for it. I'll stick some photos up tonight or tomorrow if anyone's interested. I'm looking for £85 posted. The only pedal I'm interested in is a Mesa Boogie Bottle Rocket to I'm willing to trade for one of those. Cheers Alex. EDIT:

Another happy customer here. Dan was kind enough to interrupt his dinner to sell me his amp.

Who's battling their way to a gig tonight?

Played a wedding yesterday. Marquee! -8C outside. Never thought I'd do a gig in thermal underwear. Got another wedding tonight. Fingers crossed this one's inside. -
I can't wait to see what it makes of 400W of valve amplification.
Mine goes through a 400+. It's a good combination.

Pickle Pie is probably worth a look as well. The tone control on that has so much bottom end and there's a clean blend.
Russian Circles - Damn' near perfect. =D Cheers man.
justin Meldal-Johnsen also uses a Swollen Pickle, probably worth checking out some of his output. Here's a picture of his board which he has up on his flickr account.
Yeah? Not heard of it being used by bassists before... Hmm.
The bassist from Russian Circles uses a Swollen Pickle EDIT: He's also got an old big box proco Rat on there.
Hmm, nice one man, I was wondering about using a Rat, but again, not heard of any bassist using one, don't know anyone who's got one that would be willing to lend it out either! Could you (or he) let me know how it goes?
I think bobbass4k on here uses a Rat, he'd be able to give you more info.
