Longshot, but I’m building a body for a fellow BC member and need to determine the neck pocket depth. Can anyone help? thanks!

They are pressure molded from urethane, from original knobs.

I bought some brass to make the little knob markers, and totally forgot!! Thanks, I’ll get them done

I wanted an XLR to match a Wal. It will be functional eventually. I have a Hammond audio transformer to make it work.

The build is over! Took ages getting the Walbuckers, but well worth it. The range of tones available from the Lusithand preamp is staggering. I really didn’t know what to expect, as I’ve never owned a Wal or experienced multi-coils. It weighs in at 9.0 pounds, which is just about right, and no sign of neck dive. I’m looking forward to gigging this!

Finally, assembly can start!. Just need to make a brass nut

Nice detail where fingerboard grain continues thru truss rod cover. Very nice build.

Hey, does anyone have a 5 string Thumb through neck? I need some body dimensions. I tried finding a good image and using scale length as a reference for scaling, but it doesn’t always work because of image distortion. please message me if you can help! thank you

You can get router cutters that are 0.5mm diameter, and I used to cut covers using these before I got the laser. It’s slow going with such a small cutter, and requires numerous passes!

I cut the cavity cover using a laser. I did this before glueing the wood to the body.
