I remember a thread ages back where someone had a soft zipped case (not a rack bag) for his GK1001. I remember it was around £25 and there was a link to the website, but do you think I can remember!! It looked like the Pro-Tec stuff. Thought it was Soundslive, but can't fine anything. Any ideas? Cheers

Hi, The 5-string bass I made in my avatar has a 40CS (similar to the DC) at the bridge end, and a 40P5 at the neck. It's a great combination in my opinion. You can't go wrong with EMG. They are dead quiet and have a fantastic range. Particularly the P5. Cheers Ian

I use Shure E2s with my Tascam and also for live monitoring. They handle my Low B no problem, with no farting and are brilliant. I'd like to hear the Bose ones mentioned above just as a comparison.
