1. Lawrence (aka Lozbass) sold me his Wechter ABG. He was a star from start to finish. He even rearranged his heavy schedule and took a long journey on the train just to drop the bass in hand, to a friend of mine who brought it over to me!!!!!! Most highly recommended.

3. PM your way
4. I have been using the PRTB 45 (bass specific) with 0, 4, 7, 10dB boost for almost a year now. I can only say I am in awe
5. Another perfect, trouble and hassle -free deal with Ville (his Skjold 5 for my Bongo 5) Highly recommended, once more
6. I think that this is the answer to your quest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I86kTWgMQuk
7. I have only GREAT words for Happy Jack. It's the second time that I deal with him and the whole deal (trade this time) went perfect, just like the first deal between us. Shame on me that I did not leave positive feedback on the first deal at the time (I was the seller). 1000% trustworthy
8. I am a fan of Jon's basses and I really like both designs
9.
Wow! What a beautiful piece. Had a quick glance at the Dingwall website and couldn't find any reference to Lefties - anybody know better?
NO lefty Dingwalls AFAIK. Because everything is really Custom made, it requires everything to be drawn, designed and manufactured from scratch and that would not cover the expenses involved for a left handed Dingwall
10. Both Jon Shuker as well as Alan at ACG get my vote. Let's not forget Martin at Sei, too
11. Rob bought my bolt-on headless Status S2 5str yesterday. We were in contact over the last week to make sure that the deal will run smooth all the way. We had agreed on wire transfer but be cause he would receive the bass before the funds would clear, he proposed Paypal and took the burden of the Paypal fees as well!!! STELLAR BassChatter, the least!!!
12. What kind of fretless tone are you after? Mick Karn, Jaco, Pino, Steve Bailey?
13. I've owned 4 Foderas up to this moment and I've kept the two (have played another 3 Foderas, as well). It all boils down to what you think it's worth. Good materials and construction, good attention to the details, ergonomics are closer to the "old school" side (wide neck and bridge string spacing; not my fave really) but the tone is something very personal and subjective. My R-bass was on par with with the best Foderas I've tried, for a fraction of the price; resale value for the R-bass was not as good, if one bought it brand new. If one person cannot hear the difference between a specific Fodera and another specific bass, then it's not worth to even try to acquire it (no need to generalize, unless one has extensive informed knowledge from personal experience, but even then...). If one person can hear a considerable difference, then by all means it's worth.
14. I truly apologize for not remembering out right that Peter is GreeneKing. I can only say that both Peter (GreeneKing) as well as Alan (Skelf) along with Zigmondo are great people and I have no hesitation to urge anyone to deal with them!!!
