2.
Went up to Denmark St last week and played the most wonderful 55CS P Bass, in Mary Kaye White. The Bass was ultra light and the Neck very beefy. Only trouble was that they wanted silly money for it!
well this is it isnt it. i'm currently speaking to vintage and rare about a 71 and 73 they have.
 3.
I had a look at them and to be honest was concerned that its not active ( I know the t bird is passive) I wanted 2 independant pick ups , it just specs up a bit cheap and nasty
well if its the old 70s punk sound you want and the look i'd actually take a look at the squier vintage modified. i've tried one and it may spec up cheap and nasty but its more than a sum of its parts.....

 7.
I think the serial number is ok. I have a closet classic 63 Custom Shop Tele (not that I can play it!). It starts with an R followed by 4 numbers.
thanks for that the serial matches with the cert also
 8.
hmm...
yes???? i'm sensing negativity here i dont see why.
 9.
isn't R + 5 digits a Japanese bass (or plate) ? Can never work-out these CS basses: some seem to have the 'V' symbol on both the rear-headstock AND the neck-plate; others have it only on the rear-HS (?). I think you need some better photos if possible (assume these are from a camera) as they don't do the finish etc. any favours....
okay first up. i dont know enough about serial numbers on basses however the neck plate matches up with the hand Signed fender certificate as far as the finish goes its a relic, obviously it isnt quite as shiny as a new bass. any questions fire away i'll try and help. Cheers
