  2. Here is my recent addition. She's an Empathy 5 string headless. Burr Walnut and Ash. Love it to bits... Cheers, Lee
  3. Hi, I have my Aguilar GS 112 vertical and wondered if the logos can be moved? Thought it best to ask before attempting to prise it off, and wrecking it. Anyone able to help? Cheers, Lee
  4. Hi, Great condition Trace Elliot 715 combo. 150 Watts RMS. Small scratch on the grill, shown in the picture. Marker pen would cover it up, but best to be honest. I've bought myself a Markbass head and two Aguilar cabs recently, so unfortunately this has to go. GP7 graphic and compressor built in. A great amp. Travelling about a bit this week, from Newcastle to Exeter and back, so may be able to deliver if you are on the way! As always, trades are welcome, but cash works too Cheers, Lee
  5. Hi, I've got myself a Status Empathy recently, and no longer find myself playing my Hohner custom V, so looking to sell my Hohner Custom V Headless 5 string. It has the odd nick here and there, with an odd chip of wood missing above one of the pickups. Doesn't affect playability, and this has a suberb preamp onboard. Great sounds, it's just that the Status has replaced this for me now. I'm including a Hiscox case, and would like £200 delivered. Also, I'm always interested in swaps, so offer away... Cheers, Lee
  6. Hi, Thanks for the advice lads. I'll seek out one of those recommendations. Much appreciated. Cheers, Lee
  7. Hi BOD2, That's very helpful. Thanks for that explaination. Much appreciated. Cheers, Lee
  8. Hi, I've got an Aguilar 112NT and GS112 cabinet, both of which are rated 300 watts @ 8 ohms. I want to pick up a second hand head unit to use with these. Any advice on what I should get? Can head units put out specific ohm level to drive a cabinet, ie. can a headunit that states 300 watts into 4 ohms, then drive a cabinet at 150 watts at 8 ohms? I want to try and match the amp to the cabinets as best possible, and not end up with mismatched kit. Also if an amp is rated at 300 watts @ 8 ohms, but has two outputs, does that mean the output is split across these outputs, ie. 150 watts on each output? Any help would be gratefully received. Cheers, Lee
  9. Hi, The speaker in my boxer 30 has disintegrated, after being in a damp cellar. I've test the amp, and it works a treat with the headphones, so wanted to souce a replacement speaker. Does anyone have anything suitable or can recommend something. It's a 10" speaker, and I'm guessing not more than 50 watts. Would anyone know what ohms it is likely to be? Cheers, Lee
  10. Hi, Can you provide some specs on this please? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Lee
  11. Hi, Is this a Neo-112 cab please? Cheers, Lee
  12. Hi, Not really played my Dolphin since 1993, and already having received some great advice about cleaning the fretboard and frets, I've decided to also give it a string change. On ebay there appear to be various different types of strings, but am lost off as to what to try? Warwick do various strings (Black, Yellow and Red label). Can anyone with a Streamer, advise which of these they preferred. I like to play slap, and like them to sound punchy. I think a 35,55,75,95 is on already, but is there an easy way to tell what is on already? Also, can anyone recommend someone to set it up in the local area (Newcastle upon Tyne) ? Sorry about all the total novice questions. Cheers, Lee
  13. Hi Josh, Picked up a Hercules stand for three basses for £15 locally. It's a great piece of kit. Very solid. Thanks for your advice. Cheers, Lee
  14. Hi, I'm looking to find a stand for my Pro II, but unsure what is available, due to it's wierd shape. I would prefer a short floor based stand, but the bottom of the bass is such a wierd shape. I also don't have a lot of floor room, so splayed out legs are out too. I don't want to hang it off the wall either, as the missus would go nuts! Anyone able to help with advice on something suitable? Cheers, Lee
  15. PM'd again with asking price offer. Cheers, Lee
