1. Sweet jazz bass matey. Get some pics up in the porn section.
2. I'll take the green ipod if you still have it? PM'd
3. Flip me, nice collection
4. Cheers Steve, it really is a great bass but just isn't getting played with the new arrival.
5. This bass has done me well but I've just replaced it with something that cost 3 times as much so I either need to sell this or trade it for something with the view to selling that - if it helps another person out. This is a custom 4 sting jazz bass, built from high quality components to emulate a $3,800 Sadowsky NYC Ultra Vintage Jazz Bass. This bass was previously owned and recently set-up by a Sadowsky NYC employee. Details - USA Custom Guitars two piece full size alder body with (natural) oil finish - USA Custom Guitars maple neck with oil finish; jazz profile with 1 1/2 inch width at the nut - Brazilian rosewood (same as on vintage Fender basses) fingerboard with beautiful grain - Fretwork by Mike Lull - Frets recently professionally polished by Sadowsky tech - Sadowsky single coil pick-ups - Passive Volume/Volume/Tone controls - Gotoh bridge (similar to Sadowsky OEM) - 70's pickup spacing and SLAPS LIKE A MONSTER If you are wondering about the quality of the body and neck then don't be as they are top notch. It's the same company that Valenti use to get pre-cut jobbies (check out their web: http://www.usacustomguitars.com/index.html. This bass simply knocks spots off the Fender USA Jazz basses I've tried for feel, tone and quality and is very comparible to the high end boutique Jazz basses out there. Just simply things like having a tight neck pocket and no gap between the scratch plate and control plate make a big difference! Has tone for days and in my opinion looks stunning. Condition is very good, only one noticeable ding is to the bottom edge of the body and a slight marking to the upper horn, both of which are not visible from the front. The neck is gorgeous – nice and smooth with no dings. I will also throw in a hard case! Pics Price I'm looking for £600 - which is less than what I paid for it. Or trade for a nice precision... Thanks Tim
6. Just sold Mark a pedal. Great fella and went very smoothly.
7. Yeah they're great - can't wait so see them at the Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park with Clapton (hopefully Doyle Bramhall II too), Mayer and Scott McKeon. If you don't know Scott then you should really check him out: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zNCiH37xAZM Quite undergroud at the moment but will make it big I think. Sorry for going off at a tangent. My vote is for Paul Turner, I can't wait for the next JK album. Just look at Runaway for an example of what's to come.
8. I probably would have gone for this but I think changing the speakers have put me off - you don't know exactly what its going to sound like. That and the 5 hour round trip to get it.
9. *Goes to find black hat and t-shirt* What's your address again...
10. Sweet bass man. Is it all original 'cause it looks like the pickups are in the 60's position not 70's?
11. I don't see there's much of a problem. People seem to talk about the problems on this board more than actually use it for what its here for. Just ignore the prats, be sensible and you can't really go wrong. Or is that just me?
12. Thanks Jakesbass that was real helpful!
13. Flat with a tiny bit of mid and treble taken off
14. I'm loving the custom shop mate, good work!
15. Could you give some more info on scale length, string spacing and neck dinmensions? Cheers
16. Pretty cool to see a passive 6
17. Go on, you know you want to...
18. Anyone get this? Good price.

This pedal is still available.
20. Trade? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry199711
21. I'd say this is a real personal thing and you might need to play one before you buy. I know this is said a lot but it is true! I've played a Modulus Jazz with their usual carbon neck and I did find it had a little neck dive, but Jazzes are usually like this. Sorry if this isn't very helpful. Maybe someone else can chime in...
