I actually think I remember that chris said it was going to belgium. so i've had this bass in my hands. I traded my p vintage 4 months ago, it was a good bass, reliable on a tour i was on. I still think I would prefere a passive toned P instead of the cp3 preamp. But that's just my taste enjoy!

it's a nice one, rory. Did you pick it up in the netherlands? I definitely think that blocks and/or binding is a jazz bass thing. It looks OK on this one though. Nice bass. 2. hand Celinders are cheap these days, a shame if you have no money How old is the bass? I think I might have seen it at Chris old workshop, a couple of years ago.

I talked with this guy half a year ago, we had a long talk about woods and stuff like that. He sounded like a good guy. As far as I remember, the bass was build in mid 90s.

haha...yes I could tell you. There are quite a few at the moment, sometimes three are no Celinders on the Danish market.

yes, I did a trade with this guy. He have been selling Celinders, Foderas and vintage basses for many years. I would have one build with humbuckers that you can split into singles. A cool option for a fretless I think.

my dream fretless from Celinder would be an Aura bass. Like the one Bona was playing. Of course they'er also the most expensive in his program and would probably be difficult to sell again if you'd come to that point.

The red jazz was owned by a player named Christian Danstrøm, I'm 95% sure. He's a very good bassist.

Alright, here are pics of the Celinders I've owned and the black beauty that I currently own. The blue one is the Meshell bass, I bought it from Eubassix. The white is a wonderful P vintage that was build in feb/08 to me. The 6 string is a wonderful mahogany/koa/ebony custom model bass, the most stunning sounding bass I've ever played, too big for me though. The black is a PJ update 5. I have a J update 5, black with black blocks and binding on the way, hopefully it will be finished later this year. I would love to play/ own a fretless Celinder jazz. gorgeous bass, I always wanted a passive j like this one. I tried one similar at his workshop, very nice bass.
