1.
Hmm... Chrome handles all that fine fer me...?
I've used it on 3 machines (XP and Win 7) where it locks up and refuses to load a link (lots of different sites) until the Flash plugin is killed.
2. Same here with Chrome, no problems at all. Chrome does however struggle with embedded Flash, especially movies. Were they pages with youtube vids ?
3. Argh ! 2 of my favourite basses posted on here within an hour of each other, you're all trying to send me crazy ! The fact it's in Birmingham is just cruel.
4. I still can't get over this bass since I first saw it on Scenes from a Memory DVD... cracking bass, good luck with the sale .
5. Yuk, I can't see there'd be a massive appeal for it - but it might be what some people have dreamed of. It's the string spacing that really puts me off, like it was made for guitarists to play with a pick.
6. Believe it or not your PM's are not accessible without directly querying the SQL database (outside of forum software), which only me and phatmonkey have access to, alas I am too ignorant to know how .
7. I'm going to move this to the Double Bass forum where you might get more interest .
8. Sorry dannyecko but you have to put a price up, if you an auction try ebay .
9. I'd go for Mazetti on that as well.
10. You bought an Ashdown for something more reliable ? Hahahaha... think of Ashdown as the bass equivalent of Alfa Romeo. p.s. I am an Ashdown user and fan .

Yeah ask of the admins.. oh.
12. Mmmm, I think I prefer the turquoise one, want want !
13. For the love of God, please - sort out those fingermarks !
14. D'Addario EXL (Nickel) are my favourite. PMT wanted £35 for a 5 string set - I remember buying some online for £15 a couple of years ago (same website now £20) ! Oddly I didn't take the plunge in PMT. Rotos i've also decided I hate, they may have some big name endorsees - but they don't have to pay for a new set when they go dead after a couple of weeks do they ? I put some Warwick Reds (the cheap ones) on my Fender Jazz, and to be honest - they're actually pretty good. I think they were £11 for a set, can't argue with that. I wish I were in the position to try lots of different strings, but they're too expensive to try out so I stick with what I know.
15. Ideal for home recording over gigging, just not really using it anymore for anything but a headphone preamp ! Comes with gig bag, adapter and foot pedal (as per pic). In full working order and 8/10 condition (minor scratching). Full specs here: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/LX1B.aspx Stock pic as per mine, will take a pic on request: New these are £78 (GAK), this one is yours for £50 inc P&P ! Any questions please let me know.
16. If only it were wanting that was the issue, a lack of £450 is more the problem here !
17. This instrument is not new as you are the first owner and selling it on ! As new would be the appropriate description. On topic - these are quality instruments, I had one and it was a class act.
18. Have been GASing for one of these for years, this one looks a minter ! Have a free bump.
19.
are you thinking of ones like this ? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=91855&hl=
Yes.
20. Limiting the dimensions of linked images is the main issue, not sure how that can be worked around without disallowing them entirely.
21. Personally I think MythSte should sort his signature out .
22. Just to add extra kudos to this bass, I have played it.
