If something does go wrong, we can act as mediators if required, however make no guarantees for any situation to be resolved to the satisfaction of the complainent .

    I've decided too that bands aren't for me anymore - the disappointment and hassle of other people became too much. Now, I just want to better myself as a player and am content jamming to tracks through headphones at home. There was a point last year where I got bored of playing for months - then picked up my electric guitar and reignited everything again. Since then i've been giving myself lots to do (guitar and bass) and I don't envisage it falling away again. I don't think you need to give up on bass just because you've had enough of bands.

    As can be seen from Kuetsum's comprehensive response - all is well . He has replied to me in PM with some detail that makes me happy that he is not a chancer and has had plenty of history on talkbass. JimBobTTD's opinion on the situation has been duly noted.

Would you prefer moderators to show zero interest in potential scammers ? I have currently no reason to suggest kuetsum is dishonest, however his profile has simply enough factors for me to query him (remote location, first post, website pictures). If I am satisfied he is in possession of the basses (and that alone) then I will gladly say so.

    Hi and welcome. I always thought anyone who loved Guitar Hero should do it properly ! Personally i'd go for the Squier started pack - the Epiphone is fairly limited in it's tones.

    The idea is it regulates how much you can dig into the string and makes you play 'lighter'. That's my interpretion anyway...

    I don't think I could do it. I love the fact i've got a few hanging around with different looks, feel and characteristics. Nobody [i]needs[/i] lots, but it's a luxury I couldn't forgo !

    It all depends on what you want from the bass. All of the ones you listed will have a good slap tone, which of these to go for is your prerogative.

    Hi TheGreek, just to let you know you don't need to format your post to the center . Looks like a nice bass - has a Jaydee vibe to it. Certainly not seen any more on this forum but a few on talkbass, could you be one of the only UK owners ? .
