1. *reads it through again* Oh yeah, you get the idea .
2. If 300w with a 410 isn't enough for you I would rethink your whole amp setup. Perhaps go for a higher output amp with a better cab setup ?
3. Yup, it's borked. Smells like a DNS issue to me.

5. Hah ! My Dad ended up walking away from a former large box shifting store (rhymes with Pound Patrol !) with a brand new US Gretsch Firebird 6131 (RRP £1699) for £399. They had it marked as an Electromatic (Made in Korea), he even asked them if it was the right price and they said it was ! We eBayed it a few months later for just under a grand, nice profit there. Some shops deserve to lose money for employing idiots that don't know their posterier from their elbow. EDIT: Shops do not have to sell for an advertised price or even sell anything at all, it is an invitation to treat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invitation_to_treat (I knew that A-Level Business Studies would come in handy one day !)
6.
On the Squier site for this model you can look at the specification. Under "Unique features" is Side Dot Position Inlays
Oh ! In that case it's every other bass in the world that doesn't and just the Squier that does .
7. It's pretty safe to assume they do - I don't know of any production electric basses with no markings at all.
8. It would have been your browser storing the previous one in your cache but the website specifying it displayed at a different resolution .
9. If it's had a bad mishap then £275 is acceptable if it's been well repaired. I bought a 1980 MC900 for £250, cleaned it up and was offered a straight swap for a Musicman Stingray (worth £600), needless to say I accepted .
10. Hmm I doubt any would have a diagram for one of those i'm afraid. I'm sure a local tech would be able to work it out for you quite easily .
11. I had one for review from Ashdown with a faulty switch, they replaced it sharpish but i've heard of more than just me with the same issue. I'd send them an email.
12. What style bass is it ? It's probably a fairly generic setup if it's a Precision or Jazz copy.
13. Yeah it has to be that Euro LX5, i've seen it 3 times in my life in different cities and each time owned by a different person !
14. They're about £550-£600 new I think ? If so then about £300 would seem a reasonable price to me. I'd pay that for one .
15. I think Musicman dropped the build a bass when they revamped their site.

RIP R,5,R,5...

Nice one for digging those out CK, the latter one being familiar to me.
17. Dream Theater always baffles me. I can play bits but no complete song.. Instrumedley is my goal in life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y4WRT8W2dI
18. Haha only kidding. I'm not going to have the cash .
19. Oh yeah MB1, don't think about nabbing this one I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE TOO !!!!!!!!
20. Most of my basses have been acquired through trades, I think it's a much more efficient and a cheaper way of getting stuff. I've paid out literally nothing since I bought an Ibanez Musician MC900 for £250, since then i've had a Musicman Stingray, Lakland 55-02 and now the Corvette. All have these have been from trades from that original Ibanez. That said - if no-one buys a new bass, there will be llittle supply for those looking in the 2nd hand market.
