1. Generally it's better to put pics up straight away rather than wait for people to ask .
2. I had about 20 of these when I was younger.. made a few quid selling the rare ones, the rest are in the loft at my parents.
3. Sigh - so close to me and so little cash .
4. Saw your card in Robannas last week .
5. That's interesting Merton - it may be that the LG1000 is worth the extra cash if you want it as a primary amp.
6. So far i'm getting the same vibe dave_bass5. With a passive bass I just cannot drive the preamp to anywhere near clipping... full output into my MAG210T isn't that loud. I'm taking it to band practise tomorrow into an Ampeg 810 - we will then know if this is a real problem.
7. 60w peak and a 350w head ? I think it'll not take a fat lot to kill that poor little speaker .
8. I wouldn't bother - you'll easily overload the speaker. The Perfect 10 combo is 30w remember.
9. Ok got it - cheers yorick .
10. Take a trip into Birmingham - it isn't too far from Warwick. You can definitely play a MAG300-210 at PMT .
11. I'm afraid it isn't ! Please don't ask for details my blood pressure can't cope !
12. Oh wow, I think I just wee'd a little bit. That sunburst one is gorgeous, I love seeing all these new models at the start of every year..
13. *drool* If that was in Blue Matteo i'd be carving the kidney out myself !
14. Hah you got there before me on the correction neilb . And i'd love to go down there - bit of a drive for a cup of tea though !
15. Looks like the Rockbass $$ Corvette is passive.. and that P-Nut looks fantastic.
16. Just had a very kind offer from yorick to review the LG350 he's just got. He's only a mile away from my work so should be fairly soon .
17. No idea for me at the moment. I generally end up trading on a whim and getting something I never expected !
18. Whilst there is some hum at high volume/treble levels - they are single coils designed to be vintage style. I think they have significantly improved the sound of my Jazz and I'm glad I got them. There are hum cancelling varieties available if you so wish.
19.
I really don't understand these OLP comments. OLP are MM designs, so of course they look like MM products. . . . :s
It's this one I see the similarity to, I dislike the all black hardware especially with a black body/headstock.
20. Not a bad idea at all - i'll run it by the other mods and if we have a consensus then i'll get it created .
21. Not had confirmation yet but the person I was speaking to there was previously up for it (a review that is !).
22. I can guarantee you that if I got it in for review and I didn't like it that you'd know about it ! I may be an Ashdown fan boy but I will criticise anything I dislike .
23. Love the Axis - not many basses that shape, but the Albert lee isn't for me. The Stealth Ray I despise - it looks like a cheap OLP !
24. Still trying to get one in for review - watch this space !
25. With the 2 humbuckers and 3 band EQ it should be capable of either really.
