1. I really fancy trying out one of these OLP 22/32's... they look great value.
2. For me it's pickups, EQ and then strings.

CH Guitars are superb for cheap hardware bits - check them out http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CH-GUITARS
4. You should be able to run another cab with that. I think best option for you would be a MAG210 cab, essentially what you have already without the head in it. What bass do you have ? For slap on that i'd boost the high mids and treble to about 2/3rds and change the bass to suit, leaving the rest flat. The bass and treble boost will probably bring a lot of sound out too, i'd turn them on.
5. Aguilar OBP-3 ? http://www.aguilaramp.com/products_preamps_obp3.htm
6. 1.58mm aka 1/16". Find yourself an imperial sized key and that'll sort it out. As for the truss rod, anything that will fit will do - try adjusting the action via that first as that's all I ever need to do.
7. I liked mine when I had it, but it did unfortunately have neck issues. Sounded great but was only just playable..
8. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-BB414-bass-gu...1QQcmdZViewItem I'd BIN it !
9. You'll get on well with ped .
10. I'd reply with something I couldn't repeat on here .
11. Choosing higher gauge strings will allow you to lower the tuning without losing as much tension on them. This means you should get less string buzz and it should sound better ! Try getting 55-110
12. Wow, I might try offering half of what people want and see what happens .
13. Reserve not met - it isn't a bargain yet .
14.
Indeed. How many reissues can you have before you get to reissuing the reissues!
Supply and demand. If they won't sell they won't put them out...

16. Just so utterly pointless..
17. I've got a MIM Jazz i'm not happy with and to be honest just want to shift and get something else. I don't think it's worth dumping any money into them as you usually don't get much of that investment back if you sell it on. Things I dislike with mine are unbalanced pickup output (loud G string and slightly farty neck pickup), plus it needs more defined sounding pickups, but i'm reluctant so spend any cash on it when it might still not be what I want (Jazzes may just not be for me).
18. I had an MC900 with a bit of a dodgy neck, still managed to swap it to the equivalent of £600.
19. Yeah - but for me the improvements are all cosmetic (bar pickup positioning). Since you can get a new MIM standard for about £300 I wouldn't pay more than 50% of the existing price just for block inlays and a pickup to be moved <----------> this much.
20. I think if they price these up for over £450 they won't sell very many.. it's getting to MIA Highway levels.
21. Nice looking Precision there.. you don't see many with nice fancy tops.
22. Interesting - especially if they're better than normal MIM's.
23. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=230259180334 A year ago it'd have gone for about £450... let's see what happens now we're all skint !
24. Yeah good point. Don't tell the rozzers .
