1.
Could you run this as an extension from the MAG 3oo 1X15 combo? If yes, I'd be interested. o
Yes you can - you would then get the full 300w @ 4ohms rather than the combo on its own being about 200w.
2. I think the switch also changes whether they're in series or parallel. Have a look here (assuming it's the same wiring as EBMM): http://www.music-man.com/pdf%27s/Stingray5.zip
3. Went for £385 in the end... not too bad but lower than it would have been a year ago.
4. I work for a watch design company.. nothing over £250 though .
5. Pffft - told you they were ropey .
6. Where is it snapping ?
7. The Strat style knobs were on the late 90's and early 00's Jazzes I know that much. To be honest i've never seen a Precision with strat style knobs..
8. Warwick (German), Spector (Euro models are Czech made)...umm..Sandberg (German), Vigier (French). Those are the main ones I think, most of the others I can think of are custom jobbies. If you're including UK then you can chuck in Status..
9. If only EBMM would bring these sparkle colours back out...
10. I really fancy trying out one of these OLP 22/32's... they look great value.
11. For me it's pickups, EQ and then strings.

CH Guitars are superb for cheap hardware bits - check them out http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CH-GUITARS
13. You should be able to run another cab with that. I think best option for you would be a MAG210 cab, essentially what you have already without the head in it. What bass do you have ? For slap on that i'd boost the high mids and treble to about 2/3rds and change the bass to suit, leaving the rest flat. The bass and treble boost will probably bring a lot of sound out too, i'd turn them on.
14. Aguilar OBP-3 ? http://www.aguilaramp.com/products_preamps_obp3.htm
15. 1.58mm aka 1/16". Find yourself an imperial sized key and that'll sort it out. As for the truss rod, anything that will fit will do - try adjusting the action via that first as that's all I ever need to do.
16. I liked mine when I had it, but it did unfortunately have neck issues. Sounded great but was only just playable..
17. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-BB414-bass-gu...1QQcmdZViewItem I'd BIN it !
18. You'll get on well with ped .
19. I'd reply with something I couldn't repeat on here .
20. Choosing higher gauge strings will allow you to lower the tuning without losing as much tension on them. This means you should get less string buzz and it should sound better ! Try getting 55-110
21. Wow, I might try offering half of what people want and see what happens .
22. Reserve not met - it isn't a bargain yet .
23.
Indeed. How many reissues can you have before you get to reissuing the reissues!
Supply and demand. If they won't sell they won't put them out...
