12. Physics has a lot of maths in it - so you should be familiar with the laws of probability.. .
13. I hated Physics at school. Your entry has now been disqualified.
14. Update ! Rosetti have volunteered to courier bass to the winner, so it really will be entirely free. 75 entrants now - how exciting .
15. Don't try and get any of that sympathy crap from me .
16. Jan 2000 from the serial number... mmm ! I've played this bass at Tony's and I didn't want to put it down. Amazing action, the best setup fretless i've ever played. Good price too considering the mods. (End of shameless promotion)
17. Hmm I get something similar from this Ashdown pedal i've got for review. It may be helped by having the ability to bi-amp or blend in distortion with the original tone of the bass rather than outright distortion.
18. Haha, there's actually 55 people now. I may close it a week earlier to get it done, I doubt people will enter on the last few days,
19. What made you go for the K5 ? I wouldn't have thought it was your kind of bass .
20.
..Does it have a passive switch?..Does a bass with a 'scratched' pickguard pass as mint??
Yes it does have a passive switch, they all do. And I bought a brand new sealed pickguard that had similar scratches. Black is terrible at showing the tiniest of marks but only in close up reflections.

Question?

I think he means the control plate rather than the pickguard. I would imagine that the preamp is fairly large hence the larger plate, so I don't think you could really remove it..
22. I tried a few Bergantino cabs at Music Live last year. They sound utterly fantastic... and aren't that badly priced. Our very own poptart is the UK dealer for them - check them out here: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/
23.
Just doing my bit guys! I'm proud that Ashdown are English and think its great they still make gear in England when so many companies build everything offshore.
Well... SOME of their gear in the UK .
24. I've got the 'desktop' version and it works a treat.
25. Ok i've got one of these from Ashdown for review. I'll try and get it online in the next week or so .
