1. I invested in a Warwick Infinity (Mousemat) from them, it took a week to come.. though I suppose it was hardly critical equipment.
2.
Basschat shop anyone?
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showforum=19
3. They should be easy to add.. get to it phatmonkey !
4. So... assuming the average string is 100cm long (bridge to machinehead including wraps), and the average bass has 4 strings... then there is a collective ~5.3km (3.3 Miles) of strings between us, it'll be even more if you take into account ERBs and double basses..
5. Enough of ganging up on the poor chap... he's just trying to sell it ! If he did pay £850 for it then it isn't fair to make fun of him and make him seem dumb.
6. Yeah spotted this earlier - looks nice.
7. I've been quite lax about it to be honest but i'm now getting bored of it. If you disagree with price someone has put their item up for, then PM them saying why you believe it is too high. Something is of course only worth what someone is willing to pay, what YOU are willing to pay may be different to someone else. If they choose to take your advice then great - if not then it isn't your problem. If you believe the seller is purposely being dishonest about the item then please PM a moderator who will look into it. The vigilante style self-moderation that is becoming commonplace is a nice theory, but can leads to this kind of situation. It doesn't benefit the forum and doesn't give a favourable impression of the people who are discrediting the item. I will from now on begin to delete any posts where I believe a member is discrediting the seller for the only reason that they disagree with the price of the item.
8.
Gaiz, just because you don't agree with a sellers price isn't really a reason to jump on his head :/
Yep - it's getting a bit tedious when instead of PMing the seller people jump on the bandwagon and ridicule the price/item for sale. If members believe the price is misinformed then please PM the seller with your concerns, if they choose to ignore you then that is their prerogative. If the cost is too high, then quite simply - no-one will buy it.
9. They only just brought out the MM22/32 ? How strange.
10.
That's the one. Possibly the nicest guitar I've ever played, actually. Far more playable than the Parker Fly he'd got in for six times the money. I was tempted but I'm not a good enough guitarist to do it justice (the Variax 300 is fine for me).
I gave it a play in the new year, it does indeed play like butter ! I might steal it off him for a bit. Express Music in Solihull (and Shirley) are truly hopeless for basses. They only stock cheapo basses (Johnson / AXL etc, the occasional MIM Fender) and there really hasn't ever been a single instrument in there i'd want. Also, their prices are usually above RRP and they won't budge on them. That said - they have a nice range of Ashdown gear. I live only a couple of miles away so pop in fairly often in the hope they'll have something nice.. I need to pop into Sheldon Music to see what they have really since it's so close.
11. Ok I finally got round to buying a replacement. Got a 12AX7EH from eBay for £9 inc P&P. Shame that it's still the same problem.. looks like it wasn't the valve after all. Have fired off an email to Ashdown.
12. What a stunner, it looks so great with those Aeros in it. If I had the cash i'd have it off you without a doubt.
13. That might be repairable you know... tried giving a few workshops a call ?
14. Marcus Miller for sale, or a Marcus Miller Fender Jazz .
15. Oh yeah, PMT have a quite a few Ibanez and definitely had a red Jaguar when I was last in just before Christmas. Dave Sheriff (big guy with a goaty) or Pat are the guys to speak to.
16.
He had the nicest Squier Strat I've ever played in there a while back (a sampler made by a Korean factory when they were touting for business from Fender).
Was it a red one ? If so my Dad bought it. Plus yeah, out of the shops above I think PMT has the best range and great staff.
17. I'd like to try one of the Riminis, they look more 'up my street'. http://www.arbiter.co.uk/italia/electric_b...bass_guitar.htm
18.
Question is will myung pick up the bongo 6er now? As he was using a bongo 5 at times
That's whilst he was waiting for the Bongo 6 to be made .
19. It says in the post above yours it sold in November last year:)
20. Looks like a new model. JHS stock Danelectro for the UK...
21. Looks much nicer now... almost fancy it myself.. except i'm skint .
22. How much for the fretted neck on its own ?
23. I'd dig it, but then throw it in the hole and bury it.
24. Yep I run that exact setup. The ABM has the ability for one cab ¼ jack and one speak-on. The MAG cabs have the ability to be connected either way.
