1. GAK have just listed their whole range by the looks of it.
2. Nice idea - shame it looks pants. If it was all zebrawood it might work...
3. How much did that cost you ? Never seen one for sale..
4. It says that they're Alder which really does shock me, I was expecting some variety of chipboard. See here for full specs: http://www.wesleyguitars.co.uk/storefrontp...amp;i=231364992
5. Let's see some pics ! As for the weight - I can't see it being 12lbs - my Stingray comes up as 9lbs and my Dads all mahogany Les Paul the same. Isn't the VM Jazz soft maple ?
6. Sucks about losing the JM - though the price should come down a bit for a new one now he's using Musicman. And nice stand for the Ironbird .
7. Looks like they share some features Staggs do - possibly from same factory ? I'd say as a cheap backup bass you can't go wrong. As a main instrument ? No thanks. EDIT: I'd fancy this though.. kind of a Jaguar meets Stingray. 8. Active - have never got the sound I like for my band from a passive bass yet.
9. I'd like to take one of those, stick a black pickguard and pickup cover on it... mmmm. That's got me GASing now.
10. I played one of these in Johnny Roadhouse in Manc - was quite impressed. How do you get on with just one pickup Luke ? Was the only thing that put me off.
11. I find i'm making a few less than I used to - more to do with familiarity with the songs than anything else. When we get some new ones I expect i'll make a few fluff ups again. No-one's perfect..
12. http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/shop/products.php...mp;product=1478 http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/shop/products.php...mp;product=1479 I know you said it's a S1 - but i'm sure the US Standard would be same pickguard.
13. http://www.wdmusic.co.uk - they are pricey on torts though.
14. Looks about right price for a Tribute.
15. These are great strings - would cost you at least £26 online so this is a great price. EDIT: I've got these on my Jazz and they are thumptastic.
16. There aren't many luthiers that also make amps so it's quite limiting.. suppose i'd have to go Musicman (they used to make amps, right ?).
17. It was my intention to as soon as I got a standard pickguard. Much better where it should be...
18. Might as well join in .
19. http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user?region=gb_...mp;event=228560
20. Well I don't have any problems with mine - my amp has EQ control if I really need the mids.
