  1. Heavy-gauge 1" tubular steel frame Chrome plated finish Foam padded seat top 360-degree revolving swivel These are around £90 new currently, get it half price and also save yourself 10 minutes building it. Collection only Tamworth (B78)
  2. I faced adversity today and did NOT buy the gorgeous Yamaha TRB1006 in red I saw of which I have wanted since 2005. Hopefully, I can maintain this posture for the most part, and hope to buy fewer than 4 this coming year (with a similar or higher number sold). @AndyTravis Are we placing bets on my success ?
  3. Despite some serious browsing, I can't find anything I really want that doesn't somehow duplicate what I have already. I'll definitely be buying less than 2020 (12 basses, 2 full rigs).
  4. Aircel Comfort Strap (but too long need to swap) Ashdown Rootmaster Head case. Very useful.
  5. As neither bass received zero votes it was the only logical course of action.
  6. Maybe. Most of my purchases are made with the intention of selling again quite soon after. Let's call it 'prospecting'. However - a couple of them have surprised me and are still here. Will they be in 3 months ? Depends, if something more desirable appears at a price I approve of, they may go. However I can't see myself selling the BB415.

  8. It's been there quite a while. I've noticed cheaper instrument don't sell as quickly there as the expensive ones. I sold 2 with them under £200, both were going for that or more on eBay and it took about 6 weeks.
  9. +1 from me. Good comms and friendly chat. You will find their stuff on eBay and Reverb marked up significantly, I believe this is to direct people to their main website for the 'real price' to avoid the preposterous fees on those platforms.
  10. I'm hugely biased to Yamaha. Not much else to add as without trying them side by side I can't comment with authority. However you can easily replace an Aerodyne.
  11. I reviewed one of these for Basschat ages ago (still available in Reviews forum but pics are gone). It was awesome, would totally be OK with having kept it.
  12. You can get the BB614 fretless, I saw one in Hobgoblin Music (Birmingham) a few months ago for £175. If it was a better colour and not so roadworn i'd have had it, despite the fact I don't play fretless. Probably should have had it anyway and made a few quid on it's flippage. EDIT: You can get TRBs fretless too, but certainly not under £500.
  13. Neck looks off, burst looks off. Sorry
  14. If thats Gaz, hes now at Fair Deal Music.
  15. Andy pointed me here for a BB425 pickguard. £30 Inc shipping and took 3 weeks.
  16. Still waiting for the new sofa, so the floor will be a temporary replacement:
  17. Ok it was early. It also has a Seymour Duncan 3 band preamp as a bonus.
  18. Hobgoblin Birmingham had one for £175 a few months ago. It was pretty beat up and I passed on it.
  19. It takes two to tango. You didn't HAVE to buy it. The irony here is I passed it up, Andy went for it and then I saw a Violinburst one 2 days later. That gets here Monday.
  20. Yeah @AndyTravis where did you find this one ?! 🤣
  21. Is it bad my initial thought was to do that in Photoshop ? 🙈
  22. Drive towards Burton Upon Trent from Lichfield on the A38. There is a sign that says Bass Museum. Alas for the brewery...
  23. Don't see many of these. Looks like it's in relatively good nick too. Good price ! If you were closer i'd probably have gone for it.
