    My experience is very well made but their own preamps aren't great.

    It's no big dilemma as you are covered by your warranty with the shop.

    My Q6 has EMG-HZ and BTS preamp that I didnt like so much. I think it was more to do with pickup positions though.

    Impossible, unless you added a big old humbucker in the same position and had a coil tap for the single coil sound too.

    I like the option of having a bypass, but how many people have actually had a battery go flat in a gig ?!

    I agree on a G&L L-2000, although i've heard the M series are much more tamable.

    Q series model was discontinued for the Legend to start around 2003-2004.

    My 2013 Indonesian will never ever leave. Amazing quality easily best sounding bass I've ever had. And I've had a lot.

    The newer Holoflash finishes don't seem to be as good, they look more like cheap holograms.
