    I've had a few times where I wanted to sell mine. Then I plugged it in and cranked it up. Thought removed.

    You can play that song using open notes and 2nd fret. But i suppose in general yes it will.

    These are top quality and sound awesome. The newer ones have lesser quality pickups too.

    An update ! I traded the G&L for a Spector. I'm glad I'm a man of conviction. I'm likely to now lose the Precision, T-40 and Variax (or 2 of these) as I don't play 4 strings in my band so 3 is excessive. Am eyeing up an MTD Artist 5 to replace 2 of them perhaps.

    And with the contours, the angle of the original picture isn't straight on but the internet image is. This slight perspective difference looks really blatant but I think it's the same on both.

    Surely the cost of making a forgery so close on detail to the original wouldn't be worth the bother ? It looks like decent ash, and a good finish as well as the bullet truss rod. If it is a knock off it's a well planned one.

    Add a little external EQ and you can get a Stingray out of it too.

    I actually came across this the other day wondering how low the human voice can go (I can just about do a low E). He should be in a metal band, epic stuff.
