1. I found Podrick to be very reliable.
2. Are flats any good for metal ?
3. I have a T-40 and an L-2000. Neither to me can do all of Precision/Jazz/Stingray sounds but they are as close. If I wanted something to do it all (as close as possible) in one instruments I'd get a Lakland 55-02 (again !).

5. Is this bass any good for metal ?
6. I tried a Sterling SUB yesterday. It gets very close to the Stingray sound but it felt a cheap bass as the body was very light. I'd stick with the versatility of the BB.
7. I'd love a Stingray 5 HH but would have to sell most of my current stock to do so. One day I expect
8. Cash Converters are usually quite smart on their pricing, often being very optimistic. I'm surprised they let that go so low.
9. Novax fret system.
10. A 2nd hand Yamaha TRB1006 should be about that price and definitely a better instruments. If you can find one.
11. Only way I think for an 'official' answer is to look back at the original brochures from when they came out. But I have mine pointing directly up parallel with the neck.
12. Most of their stock is 2nd hand though.
13. Oh baby. I reviewed one of these a few years ago and it was amazing. Alas offspring on the way and a full rack means I can't relieve you of it. But good luck whth the sale.
14. You need to try a few. What you already have isn't any real bearing on it.
15.
SB1000 is overpriced.
Most of the stuff on there is. I'm sure it's negotiable to serious interest.
16. The Q series preceded the Legend. No better or worse just different body shape. I had a Q6 Pro and bought it new on sale for £350 in 2005. Sold it for the same a couple of years later.
17. I believe that is a Q4 Pro.
18. Can't watch that vid on my phone. Annoying.
19. Keep it. I regret selling mine and will keep my Peavey T-40 for that same reason even though I never play it.
20. SFAM is my favourite but legally has to be listened to from start to finish without breaks. Train of Thought and Octavarium are next up, newer albums just don't grip me as much but do have good moments. It's just a shame they can't make good albums anymore.
21. Lakland 55-60. Bought when I wasn't even looking to buy as it blew me away so much. I try not to play it too much as it makes my other basses look bad. Perfect neck, amazing vintage Jazz bass tones and unusual colour means I will never let it go.
22. The only real problem I find with G&L in general is the reserved and understated appearance. Which is why I bought this one..
23. I'd neglected my L2000 after using my new Lakland exclusively for a couple of months. Took the L2000 to practice the other night and it was utterly epic. So versatile and what a tone.
24. I bet she doesnt know her reverb from a phlanger.
25. FYI I was follower number 1 .
