1. Love the 4003 in that colour, but that bedspread
2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16218284 .
3. Sorry to hear that, but it won't be returning.
4. I really dig the vibe of these basses - maybe Peavey should reissue it ?!
5. Mine was in 2006 in a band called Shattered Age (metal covers/originals). I had my Yamaha RBX775 into an Ashdown EB180 - didn't go too badly at all !
6. Put it under the bed ! You will forget about it and get a nice surprise when you're tidying one day.
7. Same for me, i've been sent plenty of instrument up front as payments for trades, one even just to try to see if I liked it as I was unsure. In the end I didn't like it and sent it back, no complaints from the owner. Whilst this thread is good to see, it must be remembered not to become complaicent.
8. Unfortunately this has been disabled again, bfirsh will be able to detail the technical reasons for this !
9.
"the lift" ? You are not saying thats the only way to gain entry are you ?
We were not allowed to use the stairs to enter/exit despite a queue for the lift.
10. Sounds great can't wait for this again ! I would make the following comments:

Entry to the venue was slow (I was there at Saturday opening), having to use the lift was very inefficient, but I suspect this is beyond your control and maybe a H&S requirement of the venue.
Volume/lack of breaks was indeed a problem, but this appears to have been addressed already.
Cafe/seating area was great - let people get away from it all and chill out, make sure this doesn't get encroached upon by having more stands.
I didn't get any free gear, can you sort this out ?
11. I don't have a sound as such, I like to change it to suit different types of music. But if I had to take one instrument as the 'do it all' then an L2000 is hard to beat.
12. Went to one where I had to show the guitarist how to turn their amp on then had to tune their guitar for them too .
13. Sounds like you'll have fun deciding what to go for ! I've had a UK Overwater in the past (Progress III Deluxe) and currently have a 'Tanglewater' Contemporary J (as per below) and both have been outstanding quality.
14. I've always only taken one (spaces issues) but for an upcoming dep gig i'm taking 2. Mostly for the chance of getting to play them live since i've had them months and they've not been used in anger yet. But also to be able to swap between sets and get a different sound as the sets do change quite significantly in style.
15. Those Supertone bridges aren't cheap - I looked at getting one for mine but sanity kicked in. I'm not going to pay out half the cost of an instrument just to upgrade the bridge Ignoring this design flaw (not manfacturing), I do enjoy playing it and it's looks and sound make up for the setup issues.
16. I think the hardest part with T-Birds is the setup. The 3 point bridge is a bit crappy and the saddles have no height adjustment making it troublesome to find a perfect balance, i'd imagine this is the same for Gibsons too. My Epiphone is my 'last' bass in terms of preference, but that doesn't mean it's underperforming. I think maybe get an Epiphone T-Bird and see if it works for you - you can always sell it on without losing too much (£50 or so) so it's not a costly experiment.
17. I bought some ER20s a few months ago and have yet to utilise them ! The Hearos I had were good for overall volume reduction but I couldnt understand a word people said in silence in them !
18. Got 30 songs to learn for a dep gig in Jan... Last one learnt is James Brown - I Feel Good.

20. Looks like he got a batch lot from somewhere. Maybe someone did a mass trade in ?
21. There is no limit on when this can be, Jan or Feb is perfectly feasible if we get people committed (in the attendance rather than psychological sense).
22. Thomastik flatwounds seem to be quite low tension - give them a go ? Not cheap, mind.
23. How about we cut out the middleman and you send it direct to me ?
24. Glad you had fun, I managed to forget about it whilst I was away !
25.
Ahhhhhh - 'template' - I just wonder why when I searched for the settings it's not under 'skins' or 'themes'
Yeah - be careful though - pressing the wrong button can have very ill effects. As evident from when the mobile theme was broken last time. Whoever that was
