1. There, I fixeded it. For some reason it was just 'hidden' in the template options.
2. A good mix of budgets per issue is great - I think the latest issue wasn't far off that but maybe lacked a real budget instrument (the G&L was midrange). The only thing that irked me was overuse of the term triumvirate. It was a new one on me and it seemed to plastered around a lot ! Other than that, I think it's going in the right direction and look forward to the next issue (of which the gap always feels longer than last time !).
3.
Until the required result is achieved. Just like the real government!
We COULD just set the poll results to whatever we want. Can the real Government do that ?
4.
Is there a URL I can go to explicitly to see the mobile site?
It seems that the site auto detects your browser and gives you a skin based on what it sees. On my Android the URL is the same as my PC and they get different skins.
5. FWIW - my vote is to get rid of it entirely.
6. I'm unsure about the strength of the acousti-glass (plastic) top, don't think they would have wanted me doing any stress tests on it in the review though. The fact the pickups couldn't be blended really bothered me, who biamps in the real world ? Not many people. I suppose if you look at it in another way - it's a unique looking instrument that can do both an electric bass and an acoustic bass sound. What other basses in this price range have piezos ?
7. Like in party politics, the option with the most votes would be the winner. For example... Red party = 50 votes Blue party = 50 votes Yellow party = 49 votes Green party = 51 votes The winner here is Green, but only 25.5% of people are in favour of them. 74.5% are in favour of NOT Green - but do they win ? The only way it would work is if 2 parties worked together to form a coalition of voters and vote for the same thing, forming a majority and overall control of the outcome. But that would be silly.
8. Looks like the current majority is to totally deactivate it. I'll admit that would certainly create less problems for us.
9. No problem Linus27 - this review has only been here nearly 4 years .

It sounds like they look back on their heavy stuff with a little disdain and are belittling the fans that want to hear that part of their history. That's a great shame - as without those fans they wouldn't be there.
11. No minimum, it'd just be nice if lots of people had their say ! This forum is a democracy, sometimes.
12.
Hey, you're not taking it seriously! Just like a real Administrator!
I blame the former administrators for all this.
13. No you're quite right - rarely do I see a post by someone i've not seen before. If we had even 10% of active users posting actively the forum would be unbearable.
14.
Are you suggesting there should be a quorum?
I had some of their sausages once, not bad.
15. A week should be a minimum really, but I guess a high proportion of the user base isn't that fussed (726 views at time of posting).
16. Not many votes though really - 60 isn't very representative of the 18000+ members we have
17. I've not read all 11 pages - but here's my idea of bass vomit . More atrocities here: http://www.wishbass.com/gallery.html http://www.wishbass....erypagetwo.html
18.
Can this option be included in the voting, please?
I don't think it can be done in the forum software so no point me adding it in .
19. Big_Stu - you can hide a persons signature easily by clicking on the 'x' at the top right of the signature. You can hide that person's or all sigs .
20. Looks good. Are you doing similar with the neck ?
21. I think the like thing is a bit of an ego thing. But it's handy on threads where someone makes a good point in a discussion or says something funny - people can identify with them without the need to post a response with something like '+1' which is a waste of a post. If it could be done that way without it having to tally total likes on someone's profile I think that would be ideal.
22. If you aren't fussed you won't bother to vote anyway
23. The lower fee seems possible to me due to the lack of printing costs or distribution - it's a good business model if the content can match the established printed media and also draw enough people. Personally I prefer physical media rather than reading on a screen but others may be less concerned ! I'll check it out from a decent bandwidth connection tonight .
24. No. I have arranged for some guitarists to have a meeting next door and they ALL have Marshall 8412 cabs with 500w valve heads, they will be conducting an attempt at the world record for joint shredding solos with their volume set to 11. But i'm not bitter.
