    Hi Hanry Just noticed your post, sorry! I’ll pack it up, weigh it & post a photo tomorrow & give you more info. It does feel very similar size wise under the fingers as a traditional double bass. I did use it to practise my bowing but the strings currently on it are more suited to pizz. I’m sure more suitable strings for arco would work with this bass. ........ok so I have attached photos of the case with one of the photos showing relative size to an electric bass. The weight of the bass in the case is 7.8kg. I have done some research on the radius & it seems to me that it varies on a lot of upright basses. Some of them have a bevel edge for the E string which is a throwback to when the E strings were much larger. The Bassix feels very similar, radius wise to my double bass which is a modern bass.

    I have a set of La Bella Gut Double Bass Strings I am selling. I tried them & could not get on with gut strings. I also now need my 2nd bass strung with steel strings for arco practise so they are not needed anymore. The whole set is in good condition & has not really been used. I paid £345 for the set so grab yourself a bargain. This is the product description: The G and D strings are plain gut. The A and E are Silver Wound. They are an excellent choice for warm pizzicato tone with easy playability and comfortable feel. Please message me if you have any questions. Thanks Greg

    I am selling my folding Bassix Electric Double Bass. It was handmade by Alan Hatswell & apart from the usual wear & tear it is in good condition. There is the odd small chip out of the body & a small chip out of the black body outline which you have to actually look very carefully to find. It folds up to just a fraction bigger than a normal bass guitar case & I will include the soft case & stand in the sale. The weight of the bass in it’s case is 7.8kg. The Bassix has a very lush mellow sound & is very easy to travel with. I brought it to practise with while I was away touring round the world. The controls give the bass a wide range of tone qualities while keeping that authentic upright sound. This is really the nearest you are going to get to a real double bass & is perfect for pizz & arco. It also has a very pleasing aesthetic look. Any questions then please message me. Many Thanks Greg

    Hi I am reluctantly selling my Fender 50th Anniversary Red Precision Bass with Rosewood fretboard. It is a beautiful example of a Fender P in good condition & has been well looked after. You will notice the serial number & sticker on the back of the headstock which you can use to check out authenticity on the Fender website. It plays very well & has that classic vintage P-bass thump.     This Bassix Electric Double Bass was hand built by Alan Hatswell & is an excellent example of his 'New Tech Skeletal' model. It folds up to just a tiny bit longer then a normal bass guitar case. It also comes with the stand. The Bassix has a very lush mellow sound & it is ideal to easy transport in the boot of the car or tour around with ease. The tone controls give a wide range of sounds & the bass is perfectly at ease for rock gigs Sting style or sitting in with a jazz trio or bigband. it also has a very pleasing aesthetic look.     The industry standard in classic reverb units - this is Lexicon's multi-fx processor, which was £1200 new. Has some of the best reverbs in the business plus many more - 250 effects altogether, all editable. S/pdif in and out. Cannon and quarter inch jacks in/out. Has only had light home use & is in very good condition. Will post.

    Boxed & in good condition with a small scratch which you can see in the photo. As well as a sequencer this unit enables you to save chord sequences with beats to play to.     Hi the back of the neck does have a gloss finish the same colour as the rest of the bass. Don't need an Epifani UL310 but worth the ask!!!! After an Ampeg Head though........     Hi just put the bass on the scales & it came out at 11lbs- don't know how accurate that is though? To be honest it isn't the lightest of basses but haven't had a problem gigging it myself.... I also looked at the US models when i got this bass & the price put me off as i couldn't justify spending double the amount!!!     Spector Euro5 for sale £700. DROPPING THE PRICE TO £700 AS I HAVE MY EYE ON A JAZZ BASS I WANT & NEED MORE CASH!!! VERY REASONABLE PRICE! In good condition apart from a knock on the top of the headstock which you can see in the photo. It plays great & has some serious punch & low end. It has recently been set up. Lovely bass!! I'm selling it as I'm now using passive basses. Feel free to ask any questions
