*NOW SOLD* So instead of putting in a drawer where it will just sit…. This is fully working active pre-amp from a Squier jazz deluxe that I’m modding for my needs so this is now spare. Great sounding bass but I’m an East UK pre-amp user, so I’m staying loyal (and they are definitely the best in the biz I tell ya!) Controls are: Volume, Blend, Treble/Bass stack, Mid and a ‘slap’ switch. *I have added an active/passive switch which can me easily removed if need be* I will add a pic of the wiring diagram so if you’re handy with a solder iron, easy enough to install or if not, a tech (or good mate or both) can do. It’s great for a project or back up bass or a main if you’re so inclined. ps: I will be shifting the pickups soon and will offer first dibs to whoever buys the pre-amp for a matching set.

The construction is highly regarded in the ‘jazz copies’ world. Being more of a 5 sting player, I put this together with great upgrades for an upcoming project but the video guys preferred a solid colour vintage looking bass, which I now own and upgraded with great results so now the KSD is a luxury (can’t keep them all sadly….however good😌 ). This fantastic bass now plays and sounds far superior than the price (and brand) suggests, but owes me £500 +……nearest to that would make me happy (collected preferably but can post if buyer covers p&p). (Willing to drop off if within a reasonable distance or en route somewhere). *I can try to recover the cost by stripping it back to original and selling bass and parts separately but that would be a shame as it went remarkably well so I’m going to try to sell it as is….*🤞🏽 In great condition with no obvious or major damage etc…I hope the pics do it justice and I will list the mods done. Feel free to question me but take my word…you will not be disappointed with this superb instrument. Approx costs: KSD bass £250, East J-Retro deluxe preamp £100, Badass 2 bridge £45, Brass nut £10, Tuners £45, Ernie Ball strings £25, Squier deluxe jazz pickups. I’ll describe the sound as snappy with good frequency range. The combination of the East Deluxe preamp and the pro level Squire Deluxe pups delivers great tones and improves significantly the quality of this instrument from the stock stuff. The feel is fast with a flatter radius than Fender stuff so really comfortable and easy on the ‘bends’. Includes gig bag! What do we think lads?🤞🏽

Genuinely think this should be in a player’s tonal chain. Took out on a Jazz/Funk gig and it was smooth as butter!! Almost has me changing my mind…..just too much a luxury with the other stuff that I own and use!!

*NOW SOLD*. A great pre-amp in great condition from one of the best in the business specifically for Jazz Style basses. Look online for specs/reviews. Comes with : *your choice of stacked knobs (chrome, black or gold). *Extras possible at £8 each complete set (of any colour). (ie: You can have all three sets if preferred). * Original box and instructions! Picks don’t show 9v tab as I used it in replacing (but should have one somewhere, I will wire in if found). An easy DIY job to wire this pre-amp.

Updated pics to show: *Swapped the castors/wheels to slightly bigger but much better quality set. Easier to move without trolley. * Resprayed spk ‘mount’ face (from white to black) using high quality/tough product as the white paint was flaking a bit. This has improved the look and protection. Loaned recently a fellow bass player (who was in a spot) and he raved about the quality of this combo. Actually said it had ‘better’ tonal options than his beloved Mark bass separates🤫🤐🤷🏾‍♂️😎 Shamelessly bumped for more views…
